Unfortunate death of Sahil Wakode, a BTech student at IIT Bombay, but—

It is concerning that, once again, a caste-based (SC/ST Atrocities Act) dirty political narrative and false propaganda are at their peak at @iitbombay and that too is without any publicly established evidence.

This time, Prof. Suryanarayan (Prof at ESED department, IITB) Dulla is the victim, as he was the one who caught Sahil Wakode using ChatGPT to answer questions during the examination.

Resignation or removal of individuals should not become a substitute for establishing the truth.

The actual issue is that these gang members were not allowed to carry out any chaotic activities inside the campus over the last two years.

They found this an opportunity because, somehow, they managed to give it a caste angle.

Otherwise, thoroughly studied and well-planned rules/policies are the solution to preventing student suicides, and such measures can easily be demanded from the administration. But these gangs do not want a solution; they want chaos.

Let the facts speak for themselves. We demand a fair investigation, due process, and a peaceful academic environment as the priority.
