Stanley Ndawula’s untold Mabonga story raises eyebrows!
👉The video leaks may be a smokescreen to dodge accountability over reported links to fugitive fake gold dealer Cohen Carlos, wanted by Interpol and Angolan security.
Meanwhile, NUP and Bobi Wine’s boys swallowed the story without questioning its thesis. Lt Mabonga may have turned their propaganda into their own political trap!

The Mabonga saga gets murkier! As videos flood the internet, Links to fugitive gold dealer Cohen Carlos raise bigger questions.
👉Cohen Carlos paid Lt Mabonga $100,000 for access to President Museveni hiding in gold investment,
👉while $50,000 was recovered from Mabonga. With Carlos being wanted in Portugal for fraud and forgery, the real plot may be bigger than the videos.
NUP & Bobi Wine rushed to the headlines for political mileage; did anyone investigate the receipts? Afande bamu suziza omunyago😂🤣

@Daki_Tah, join me in giving flowers to this man, @c_mwanguhya. He absolutely delivered on his role.
Jjajja @KagutaMuseveni can be a bully when it comes to translators. He is known to stop and demand clarity if he feels the message isn’t being translated to the dot. But at no single moment did I hear him ask, “Is this man translating what I am saying, or is he saying something else?”
That, to me, speaks volumes about the quality of the work.
Charles, I salute you. You understood the assignment and delivered. 👏🏾
...A masterclass from @c_mwanguhya at today’s Installation of the Omukama of @ObukamaBwaTooro .
Speaking in Lutooro and translating throughout the ceremony, Charles delivered with remarkable poise, clarity, confidence and command -making the transition between languages look effortless.
A great orator. A gifted translator. Flowers to you.

Everything he does, he does, to his best. I don’t think he can do anything he hasn’t gone through its relevance. I have been his silent student for a long time. He doesn’t posture or struggle. He allows his intelligence, professionalism & facts to dictate his duty at hand.

The tragic loss of Moses Matovu soon after losing Alex Mukulu is too much to bear. Having started performing in the 1960s, Matovu has maintained a unique style and standard, free of controversy and mentored many. He was a major attraction at Afrigo and leaves a legacy for young artistes to emulate. His killers have robbed the nation of an irreplaceable gem. Condolences to the family, Afrigo band, fans, and all Ugandans. MHSRIEP!

WALK FOR THE KING🙏
We braved the early Saturday morning rain to step out for a 34km walk in memory of our beloved King Oyo.
During the walk, we made a stopover at the Munyonyo Palace to pray our respects to the king and pray for his family and Tooro Kingdom.
We thanked God for his life, and prayed for peace, tranquility, and understanding to reign in Tooro. We prayed for oneness, and that amidst whatever is going on, the Lord may remain enthroned as the King of kings.
King Oyo was a great friend of Joe Walker Foundation, he supported our Kampala to Fort Portal road safety walk, and hosted us at his Demonstration Farm in Kabarole.
May he rest in peace.
A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE, REFLECTION AND HEALING
People of Tooro, friends of Tooro, and all those who stood with us,
As we come to the end of one of the most painful chapters in the recent history of our Kingdom, I wish, on behalf of the Tooro Kingdom administration and on my own behalf, to express our profound gratitude to everyone who stood with us and supported the final journey and dignified send-off of our beloved King, His Majesty Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.
Our responsibility during these difficult days was clear: whatever else was happening around us, we had to see this journey through with the dignity, respect and honour befitting our King. We had to put aside our differences, manage our grief and work together to ensure that His Majesty was laid to rest in a manner worthy of the Crown he carried and the people he served.
In a special way, I wish to recognise and thank Prince Jonathan Bala, His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary, for his loyalty, dedication and service to our King. Throughout this extraordinarily difficult period, his commitment to His Majesty remained steadfast. He carried an enormous personal and official responsibility, often under very difficult circumstances, and continued to serve with dedication until the very end. He deserves our sincere acknowledgement and gratitude.
I thank His Excellency the President, General Muhoozi, the Royal Family, the Government of Uganda, religious and cultural leaders, the organising committees, the media, our Kingdom leadership, clans and Masaza, volunteers, businesses and partners, the people of Tooro, Ugandans across the country, the diaspora and friends from beyond our borders. Whether you contributed your time, resources, professional expertise, food, transport, prayers, presence or simply stood with us in solidarity, you became part of His Majesty’s final journey. We are deeply grateful.
We recognise that everything may not have been done perfectly. This was an unprecedented moment for our generation. We were mourning our King while simultaneously carrying the enormous responsibility of organising his final journey. Emotions were understandably high, decisions sometimes had to be made under extraordinary pressure, and grief affected us all in different ways.
Where we fell short of expectations, where communication could have been better, or where anyone felt disappointed by our actions or omissions, I offer my sincere apologies. These shortcomings should never be mistaken for a lack of respect or commitment. We were a people grieving an immense loss while doing everything within our ability to honour our King.
Now that we have laid His Majesty to rest, another journey begins.
This must be a period of learning, refocusing, rebuilding and healing.
We must learn from what these difficult weeks revealed about our institutions and ourselves. We must strengthen what worked, honestly address what did not, rebuild trust where it has been strained and allow ourselves, individually and collectively, the space to heal.
There will be difficult conversations ahead. There will be institutional questions that require wisdom and clarity. There may be different opinions about the way forward. But our differences must never become greater than the Kingdom we all belong to.
This is not the time for winners and losers. It is the time for responsible leadership, humility and reconciliation.
His Majesty’s passing should remind us that positions are temporary, but Tooro remains. Personal ambitions pass, disagreements pass and generations pass, but the responsibility of preserving this Kingdom for those who come after us endures.
Our guiding principle in the days ahead must therefore remain simple:
Tooro comes first.
Above personalities. Above positions. Above disagreements. Above individual interests.
May we find the wisdom to learn, the humility to reconcile, the courage to rebuild and the strength to move forward together.

For so many well meaning Ugandans who have been sympathizing with our former Queen Mother (QM), Best Kemigisa, here is more food for thought. This morning she refused the body of King Oyo to leave the palace. Government had to use the army to get the body to church.
As I post this tweet, she has refused to release the body for burial at the royal tombs. Under our customs, a king is supposed to be buried not later than 3pm. It is now almost 5pm and the mourners and all officials at the burial are stuck. The only way they can get the body of the king and bury it is for the state to send in the army and forcefully grab the body from her. The optics would be terrible.
For more than 30 years, Batooro have put up with the greed, intrigues and intransigence of this lady. For 30 years we have witnessed the desecration of our most sacred traditions. For 30 years we have seen kingdom land taken and sold by her and all the money pocketed by her. For 30 years batooro have sustained this vicious assault on our kingdom in silence because we are a peaceful people who avoid controversy and confrontation.
Best Kemigisa is pushing us over the edge. In 1998 she chased my grandmother, Kezia Byanjeru, 93 years (former queen mother), from the palace, used ruffians who lifted her forcefully and dumped her onto a pickup truck, broke her hip and she died two months later. Queen Kezia was the mother of King Patrick Olimi Kaboyo III and therefore mother in law to Best Kemigisa. We suffered this humiliation in suppressed silence.
In 1999, she ordered the cold blooded murder of Prince Kijanangoma, elder brother to the new king. The investigation found that she was the architect of this heinous crime. At the time, the state protected her from criminal prosecution because she was a queen mother rising a seven year old king. Sending her to jail for life or death would have harmed the kingdom. I fully supported this decision as well reasoned and wise. John Katuramu was prosecuted and sentenced to death for this crime to which he was only an accomplice, according to the investigation.
A few days ago, she tried to get her grand nephew and hoist him onto our throne contrary to established custom. She forged a will of the late Oyo. She has lied, intrigued, vilified and manipulated the kingdom. And we kept silent. We are kind, tolerant and patient but we are not stupid or cowards. There is a limit to how much we can tolerate. Kemigisa cannot continue with these machinations and get away with them. Not anymore! PERIOD!
