“The main, the fiercest, and the most powerful enemy of the Church is the Freemasons.
That the current flood of Protestant sects is actually the vanguard of Freemasonry is expressly acknowledged by the Masonic magazine ‘Wolna Mysl.’ They state:
‘While we reserve the right to a fully independent assessment of the internal validity of the doctrine of the national church, we can still support its struggle, as well as that of any other Protestant sect, against the supremacy of the Roman Church’…
Their goal is to ‘grant ample freedom to each, according to their own ideas and imagination, in judging the religion they profess. And after instilling indifference toward religion—which thing could not possibly be more sinister—they aim to desecrate and insult the passion of Jesus Christ with unworthy rites, to despise the Sacraments of the Church and even the mysteries of the Catholic faith, and to beat down this holy Apostolic See [Rome], against which they harbor special hatred and which they all conspire to lay to ruin by cunning, for it always retains the primacy of the apostolic chair.
The principles of their morality are wicked. They promote the pleasures of the senses, allow anyone who has failed to keep their secret to be killed, teach people that it is lawful to provoke rebellion to dethrone kings and all the rulers, who with great contempt they brazenly call tyrants…
What are these basic points [of their agenda]? Here they are: the total annihilation of the supernatural world. It is clear that at this point one can no longer speak of religion or morality.
Their great efforts to achieve that goal are clear at every step. Art, literature and magazines, theaters, cinemas, youth education, and legislation are briskly moving toward the abolition of the supernatural world and the gratification of the pleasures of the flesh…
How can we possibly counter this plague, this army of the Antichrist? The Immaculata, Mediatrix of all graces, can and wants to help us. To what purpose, otherwise, the apparitions in Lourdes, the revelation of the Miraculous Medal, by which many a person has already been converted?
A soul that is imbued with love for her will certainly oppose the work of depravity, the main weapon in the hands of Freemasonry. ‘We will not vanquish the Church by argument,’ the Freemasons declared in one of their meetings, ‘but by corrupting morals.’”
St. Maximilian Kolbe, “The Current Enemies of the Church” (October 19, 1922)
It seems that the SSPX’s strategy is to force the Pope to excommunicate them as schismatics so that the very next day, they can apply for interfaith dialogue, be met in the Vatican by an official delegation, get treated like royalty, pray with the pope (with a photo-op), and perform formal liturgical functions in St. Peter’s.
Or, does this only work for Anglican women larping as bishops?

Time is short, and the times are urgent.
Far more than hearing constant “dialogues” and “debates,” we need to spend as much time as possible feeding our intellects and hearts with the sources of the Faith:
Scripture + Fathers + Saints
The Scriptures come alive like never before through the writings and witness of the Fathers and Saints. The truth becomes more obvious and undeniable when you spend time with the Holy Ones, through whom the mysteries of Sacred Writ become manifest in word and deed.
If you have several hours any given day or evening to explore issues related to theology and the true faith, my recommendation is to spend the vast majority of it in these sources.
It will do you far more good than almost every other form of content available on social media, and you can actually be assured you’re engaging with someone who knows what they are talking about.
I've never looked at Protestantism and thought to myself,
"I wish we had that in the Church."
Whatever is good in Protestantism is found more abundantly in Catholicism.
I hear this over and over again from my Catholic convert friends.
This is not meant to be an insult, but an honest observation.
Immodest, degenerate women do not realize that their whorish attire:
- Their bikinis at the beach
- Their butt-crack leggings at the gym
- Their sports bras at the grocery store
Are only possible to wear BECAUSE of the high-trust society built by Christianity.
If they dressed like that in any Muslim, African, Hindu, or Third-World pagan nation, they would be harassed or raped.
That is, they sin while mocking the religion and men who produced the conditions that allow their harlotry without worry of physical assault. They are sawing off the very branch they are sitting on—which demonstrates how foolish they are.
“Today, to be in full communion with the Holy See, one must accept those affirmations and teachings of Vatican II that are pastoral and certainly non-definitive in terms of their magisterial nature. This raises an important question: Why is the unconditional acceptance of the texts of Vatican II presented as a conditio sine qua non for full communion with the Holy See, while no comparable requirement exists with respect to the pastoral, disciplinary, or non-definitive teachings of the preceding twenty Ecumenical Councils?” — Bishop Athanasius Schneider
Many people pray, but do not fast.
Fewer fast, but do not give alms.
We must do all three to be fit athletes (root of “ascetic”) of Christ:
Pray + Fast + Give Alms
The Church’s entire tradition and history teach that these are non-negotiable weapons of the spiritual life.
Correct. If any demographic actually believed 1) Once saved always saved, 2) Absolute assurance of salvation, 3) Salvation by Faith alone, 4) No purgatory, then that demographic would have astronomical suicide rates. The fact that the very groups who claim those beliefs do not have astronomical suicide rates proves that their own adherents don't actually believe what they say they believe.
I’ve found that Protestants don’t actually believe the things they say they believe. None of them believe in once saved always saved. None of them believe they’re saved by faith alone, and none of them believe in Sola Scriptura. They say they do but they don’t really.
If you are Catholic and will be going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) keep a few things in mind:
1. Confess your sins, not other people's sins.
2. Don't tell a story about why you sinned.
3. Don't talk about other people.
4. Sins are not accidents, so if you accidentally sneezed in public that is not a sin.
5. Don't talk about who you do and do not like, what you do for fun, how tough your job is or how you "almost" sinned.
6. If you accidentally did something and it was not intentional it is not a sin.
7. Be assured that if you confess your sins as far as you can remember since your last confession all of your sins are forgiven.
If you are not Catholic don't complain that Catholics do go to Confession.
A religious habit is a sign of death to the world and total consecration to Christ.
Throwing an NBA jersey over it for social media content doesn't strike me as making religious life look exciting.
It makes it look less sacred.
@UNDRR More fear mongering bullshit. The ACE (Accumulated Cyclone Energy) index shows NO increase in intensity of hurricanes cyclones, but a decrease since 1990! UN lies to gain global power!
“Catholicism is like a lion; it doesn't need to be defended, just understood. Most Protestant objections are based on misconceptions, not the real teachings of the Church.”
~ Peter Kreeft, former Calvinist, now Catholic theologian, philosopher, apologist & university professor
St. Teresa of Ávila once watched a man get dragged to hell.
It's in her autobiography. And it haunted her until the day she died.
She knew the man. Everyone did.
For years he had lived a hard, godless life. But in his final two years, illness had softened him. He seemed to be changing. Mending his ways.
Then he died. Suddenly. Without confession.
Even so, Teresa couldn't bring herself to believe he was damned. Surely God had reached him in the end. Surely there was mercy.
She held onto that hope.
Until she saw what was waiting in the room.
As they wrapped his body in its burial shroud, they came.
Demons. A great many of them. Swarming the corpse.
They seized it. Dragged it. Tossed it between them like a thing of no worth.
They sank large hooks into the body and hauled it back and forth, playing with it, mocking it.
Teresa stood frozen. Horrified. Half out of her mind at the sight — and forced to hide it from everyone around her, because no one else could see a thing.
Then the funeral Mass began.
And the demons vanished.
For the length of the office, the body was carried in peace, with all the honor and ceremony given to any Christian.
Teresa wept inside at the goodness of God, who covered the man's shame and let no one know what she had seen.
Maybe, she thought, it was over.
It was not over.
They lowered the body into the grave.
And they were already there.
A crowd of them. Waiting at the bottom of the earth. Crawling over one another to take possession of him the instant the dirt received him.
Teresa nearly broke. And one terrible thought pierced her:
If this is what they do to the BODY... what are they doing to his soul?
The memory of that grave frightened her for the rest of her life.
Why does this matter to you?
Because Teresa begged for one thing:
"Would to God that this frightful thing which I saw could be seen by everyone who is leading an evil life."
She believed that if souls could SEE what waits for them, they would change. They would run back to Christ before it was too late.
We love to talk about God's mercy. And we should — mercy is God's greatest attribute.
But you cannot treasure mercy until you understand what you are being saved FROM.
This is why Our Lady of Fatima showed three small children a vision of hell. Not to terrify them. To save them and others.
A thing is better known by its contrary. You see the light most clearly when compared to the dark.
So hear this plainly:
You belong to God, or you belong to Satan. There is no middle ground.
God is infinitely merciful. He will turn away NO ONE who comes to Him.
But you must come on His terms. And He gave us the confessional for a reason.
If it's been a while — go. Don't wait. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
Lord Jesus, bring back sinners. Give them the grace to return to Confession while there is still time. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. St. Teresa of Ávila, pray for us.
The enemy is real, and he is fighting for your soul. If you're a Catholic man who's tired of fighting alone — tired of falling to the same sins and losing ground — that's exactly what we do inside TOD Academy.
Brotherhood, accountability, and serious formation for men who want to take the spiritual battle seriously. Come fight with us. https://t.co/U3AYPleNTY
Father makes a great point here, and I would imagine most sensible people would agree with the logic behind such consecrations.
What is interesting is that in the cases of Soviet Bloc consecrations, it is seen as justified because of physical boundaries and the threats of violence for those who openly practiced the Faith. Rightly so, this was seen as a justification for otherwise irregular acts by bishops.
Now, Christ says to us, "Fear not him who can kill the body, but fear him who can kill the soul..." which tells us that, while threats of physical violence are of course troubling; threats to the spiritual life are even more grave.
The bishops in the Communist era bravely did what they had to do in a situation wherein it was dangerous to do otherwise.
The bishops of the SSPX are responding to a necessity that is not physical, but spiritual, which makes the situation all the more grave, and therefore, justified.
