TREM2+ macrophages have rapidly emerged as key regulators in diseases.
Studying them requires specific antibodies.
Among 14 tested antibodies in KO cell lines, 5 are specific in WB.
Pick up the right one.

🚨 Excited to share a new paper in Cell! Human genetics led us to HOTSCRAMBL, a HOXA-locus lncRNA that regulates 🩸#stemcell self-renewal and HOXA9 splicing, with implications for AML.
Amazing work by @lvchosen1 with @silvirouskin, @Armstrong_dfci, and many more!

Our paper is out in @ScienceMagazine
Here we describe how stem cell retain epigenetic inflammatory memory long-term. Full text in the link below!
Congratulations @chris_cowley14@SairajSajjath@LFSoto12 and everyone else involved!

The Koh Lab (https://t.co/Vh7NAyzJe7) is hiring!! Please reach out to join our newly established lab (now with an amazing graduate student and a very talented undergraduate student) as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate! Come help us write the first exciting chapter of our saga!
Excited to share that my PhD work on ER mito contact sites is finally out at @MolecularCell! Big shout out to @stark2_d to take this across the finish line, and @YatrikShahLab and @LyssiotisLab for their guidance as always!
I am excited to share our latest research out today
@NatureGenet; here we discovered childhood brain tumours instruct cranial hematopoiesis and identify a clinically relevant mechanism to re-educate the skull bone marrow.

Great postdoc opportunity in the Christer Betsholtz group at Uppsala University, led together with Riikka Pietilä. Fantastic science and environment - please share!
Extremely excited to share my first first-author publication posted today in @nature, a joint effort with co-first author @wenzhang1120 !
Here, we identify a novel neuronal-epithelial circuit as a critical determinant of type 2 immunity.

Not the final version...but first one (though a review) with my new affiliation! Many thanks to @ralfhadams for the phenomenal support!!
Finally - It is official. Thank you @atvbahajournals for highlighting the amazing work of Aomeng Cui in the @AgalliuLab and Sproul labs to generate IPSC-derived human brain endothelial cells and build a 3D iPSC - derived neurovascular unit for studying neurological diseases.
🔬 We have an opening for a postdoctoral fellow in my lab at Weill Cornell in NYC. This position is ideal for a rigorous, hands-on experimental biologist who loves designing and executing complex wet lab experiments. The focus is on mechanistic cancer biology in cell lines and patient-derived models, with genomics and AI tools integrating with the core bench work. Details below. 👉 Please share with strong experimental candidates in your network.

In a project led by Rory Long, we developed a 3D brain microvessel coverage that recapitulate physiology pericyte coverage. We found that malaria products halt angiopoietin secretion by pricytes, a vascular protective molecule. We could rescue barrier disruption with AKB-9778!
