I've been taking some time off from social media to focus on working part-time, getting treatments for chronic health issues, and general self-care. I plan to be more active starting September. Hope you all are doing well #cancersurvivor
For those who have dense breasts with high breast cancer risk (including me), Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) can be done in addition to annual mammogram screening. Ask your doctor to see if you are eligible. #ABUS#breastcancer#densebreast
It's the #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth again. I've been trying to focus on my personal life and treatments for health issues caused by cancer treatment. But, I gotta emphasize how early detection and cancer research can save so many lives. #BCsurvivor#1in8#cancerunder30
Do you know how to support cancer patients/survivors? Use empathy (and don't use the word "at least") #CancerSurvivor#bcsm#EmpathyNotSympathy

Dr @KekoaMDPhD on why he is so passionate about improving #nativeHawaiian cancer care after losing 10 family members & never hearing the word CURE as a possibility. #AANHPIHeritageMonth#AANHPI 🙏
Thanking all moms today. I had no idea until cancer happened as a young woman.. Trying to be a mom is already a very difficult step for me. I hope I can be a mom soon #HappyMothersDay#InfertilityByCancer#bcsm
May is Asian / Pacific American Heritage month. Just in case you don't know, AAPIs do get cancer too. Someone told me I was not supposed to cancer as Asian & I must've done something wrong to my body. I was like ?!?🤨🤷🏻 #AsianPacificAmericanHeritageMonth https://t.co/oJadLQZTWw
At #NBCCSummit, I asked @GhajarLab why it’s important that scientists work w patient advocates & he had the best answer:
“I don’t know how it could not be. Everything we do is for patients, how could we do it without engaging with them?”

@JBorniger @NBCCStopBC Thank you for posting. For young adults, getting diagnosed w/ cancer can mean going broke. I spent all of my savings just for IVF before treatments. Many of us have school loans and some move back to parents' houses (this is considered to be a luckier case than going bankrupt).
