Two @Prusa3D things broke this week: the HT90 and my patience. We’re looking at a blob of doom on the HT90 and talking about the Prusa gentleman’s agreement regarding the INDX . From loose nozzles to content muzzles, we’re breaking down why integrity matters. (Link in comment)

@josefprusa I used exactly this printer in a comparison Prusament vs Stratasys ASA. Core One L handles great ASA and similar filaments, where 290C is enough. But several technical filaments requires a higher temperature. https://t.co/99lTDrOABd
With INDX now shipping, we want to gently remind the cheap knock-offs surfacing on the market that INDX was invented by Bondtech and is protected by both pending applications and granted patents, with three separate patent families covering:
i) a longitudinal opening in the toolhead and auto-separating feeding wheels, allowing the nozzle to be swapped with the filament still inside to completely eliminate the need for purging;
ii) the selective picking of passive nozzles from a rack and using contactless temperature regulation of the passive nozzle; and
iii) a pivotable feeding-wheel mechanism that dynamically scales the gripping force on the filament in direct response to feeding resistance.
We kindly ask the community to support original innovation by not promoting or purchasing any unauthorized copies. Because we are committed to protecting our R&D and our partners, our lawyers stand ready to commence enforcement the moment copycat products hit the market. This means that copycat products may face sudden sales or import restrictions, potentially leaving buyers without product, support, updates, or replacement parts.
We would hate to see anyone in the community left out of pocket or with unusable hardware, so please do think twice before backing a copycat.
#3dprinterwars: @Stratasys just got absolutely BODIED in PTAB over their "heated bed" patent – and @Prusa3D was doing it YEARS earlier anyway

Probably the most unrealistic print I've done to date. Small test of Ultraglow and PETG Ultramarine Blue while using color mix and shading. Feels like I'm holding a hologram. Definitely going to work on some more projects in this line.

@Stratasys#PurgeTower patent is valid !
THE PATENT TRIAL AND APPEAL BOARD on June 9, 26: Petitioner @BambulabGlobal has not demonstrated, by a preponderance of the evidence, that claims 1, 2, 5–7, 9, 16, and 17 of the ’713 patent are unpatentable.
@3D_Musketeers
@BambulabGlobal vs @Stratasys patent office conclusion: #Stratasys purge tower patent valid. youtube purge tower video is not prior art; an online article about purge tower is not prior art; KISSlicer purge towers should be ignored; a book by Boyer is not about purge towers
