In short, Anthropic's blog is saying: We have always cared about safety, we did a good job initially, the actual AI experts in USG agreed, we proved it, we will come up with standards so these things are better communicated, welcome to the AI safety club Trump admin.
@staysaasy I just used Claude for this last month: emailed a handful of dealers (GMs/ISDs), said "This is exactly what I want, I'm not coming in unless I have a quote in writing in 48 hours." Got quotes back, pitted them against each other, got a great deal and roughly zero BS.
@hailsxr For me, I have the same number of ideas, but most become prototypes instead of empty repos. Starting with about GPT5.5, it started to feel like I could actually finish some of them, and making that a goal for myself has made it easier to handle the multitasking.
@jshchnz@Spotify@AppleMusic I was dreadfully annoyed by all the bugs and issues for about 3 months, then I forgot most of it. For me it is worth it to pay artists more and avoid the constant feature creep of Spotify, but the occasional papercut does burn :(
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
I’ve been using this personal practice tool daily since I made it. Completely local & free stem separation! I’ll open-source my swift-demucs implementation if there’s enough interest.
