This scene isn't getting the airtime it warrants.

The same police force that just ruined the lives of the Nowak family are filmed brutalising in broad daylight a single lone protester in full stormtrooper garb.

This is the pathological bully state that operates on the basis of what I refer to as Low Hanging Fruit syndrome.

It is emblematic of a system under which those broadly predisposed towards obeying the law receive double and triple helpings thereof in instances of minor infractions, and those disinclined to do so in the first place are avoided or bought off at the expense of the rest of society.

Perhaps Starmer and the Westminster Blob think a crowd of stormtroopers bonking an unarmed and isolated individual with their riot shields is somehow an impressive spectacle.

It's no more impressive than a schoolyard bully tacitly left to impose his will on younger pupils - itself a not infrequent phenomenon in Britain, where victim and culprit are constantly inverted because victims are easier to placate than bullies.

The commonalities are cowardice and denialism.

Alas the Political Class loves to opine at length about the mystical Far Right 'Fugs who are irate for reasons that are remain stubbornly opaque to the political class; even as their own behaviour is no less an affront to civilised behaviour.
