@LaceReto1 @Angry_Staffer @SenatorSinema Personally, I think the solution is to get money and job offers out of politics. Make it so a congressperson can actually be convinced by altering a bill. Instead of right now where someone can just be promised so much money they'll never change their mind.
@duolingo is there any chance we'll get outfits back for Duo? Specifically the tuxedo was a huge hit for my girlfriend, my daughter, and myself and we're really bummed we all lost the outfit (We don't care about the gems, we just thought it was cute!)
@duolingo@LearnMoreAlways Is there any chance you guys will rethink the decision to remove outfits? That's a huge emotional connection you removed. Is there a plan to add them again? Lot's of people are upset, not angry but just feeling bad at not getting to see duo with his cute outfits anymore
@McFunkypants I can't tell if I want to encourage you to not call it an asset flip, or to encourage other people to embrace this more positive definition of asset flip.
Screw it: Let's take it back! Asset flips are "flippin' good" games with assets you didn't make yourself!
@raisabruner Oh good. My state was ranked one of the two "worst in the nation for online dating" last year. I figured it was just "my area", haha.
Presumably there exists an "area" in the US that the app is working in?
To The Rescue! a dog shelter simulator by my company Little Rock Games is almost fully funded! Check it out!
20% of profits after launch will go to real animal shelters!

It's a press-your-luck game where you have to kill monsters and collect treasure without provoking a dragon attack.
It's *heavily* inspired by (more of a deconstruction of) Dungeon Roll - that's her favorite game and the first game we ever played together!
For Father's Day my daughter and I are going to revisit a tabletop game we've been working on! Being creative together is easily my favorite part of being a dad :)
@McFunkypants What about a game jam where the first phase is people building screenshots - in a PSD file with layers. And the second half is randomly trading those files and now you build a game with those assets!
@eliothochberg Holy shit! Just the fact that this exists means it's not just me - thanks for sharing!
I mean, I'm still not throwing myself a party this year, but at least I know I'm not a *total* weirdo.
Dreamhack was wonderful! So many awesome designers, it's always a humbling experience to see what other creative people are doing - exactly the kick in the pants I needed to get back to making cool stuff!
Back in October, we played @Hover_the_Game for our Game-of-the-Month podcast. These icons from 2000's Jet Set Radio are a wonderful inspiration for the graphics in Hover. Shows how, as @Robbiehunt aptly put it, Hover the "spritual successor" to JSR. Cool stuff!
