@MikeWingerii Yeah because the whole of Catholicism isn't JUST the bible. You can't just say...it was in the old testament, so we need to do it. The "old law" as it were was replaced with the new covenant of Christ. As such, citing Old Testament punishments in a vacuum is bad form.
