The driving experience everywhere in the world is 100% visual and analytical. To add another layer is complicating an already complex yet simple system. If you can’t figure out how to make vision work why do you think adding a bandaid sensor package will better? I can see if you mastered vision only, and then wanted to go to the next level of autonomy by adding sensors but bypassing a mastery of vision only and going to a blend seems like a poor idea. A 2 star vision package and a 3 star lidar suite will not get you to 5 stars. You need 5.
