@olsonplanner Primary care example: Hospital follow up where I look over notes from hospital, review imaging, labs, do follow up and referrals, should be billed 99214 at least but a normal visit for a problem visit where you might just address 1-2 things is 99213. Important to bill accordingly
@lunarcycling AI is a tool like any other tool. It has its limitations it has its uses and if you learn to use a tool effectively, it can make your job easier.
@pgipe I’m sure there are some nurse practitioners that refer unnecessarily but they’re also doctors that refer unnecessarily. They’re also patients who insist on your referring them when you don’t think it’s necessary.
@TheDrugMoney Morgan Freeman has a great quote where he says never take criticism from someone you wouldn’t go to for advice. I think what you just said is a nice addition to that and you should only take advice from people who’ve actually done the thing.
@SStricklandMMA Honestly solid advice. You can simplify but just keeping that 3 months in your brokerage, with fidelity it automatically goes into SPAXX which yields similar to HYSA rates, anything on top of three months invest in FXAIX.
