@altini_marco It's an awesome controll of your body to keep in z1 and 2 during high montanious hiking . Congratulations! And to tell the truth I'm very envy 😁😁😁😁
@SitkoSebastian The aerob capacity largely determines the anaerob performance, in this context, the higher aerob capacity, the higher anaerob limit is and a greater percentage of fat used when delivering greater speed or power.
@altini_marco@EuroAthletics Which part of the site? Unfortunately I did not find it. There are a lot of stuff about ethich and fair game but nothing about hrv. Probably I search in a wrong part?
@altini_marco Totally agree with you, it's a very good explanation. I have some athletes who are crazy stucking to their wereable data and wait for the ai to make his life and training better...
🙋🏽♂️ Are you interested in wearable sensors and e-textiles for sports or fitness?
🏃🏽♀️ Last night, I read a really nice review article on this topic that discusses:
🧵Serotonin & noradrenaline are the amplification powers of our motor nervous system
🦸But with great power, comes great responsibility
What if motoneurons lose their amplification powers when we get tired?
📖Our study led by @TonyBlazevich suggests so

This is such an important study and shows very well a finding that we should always keep in mind:
Gross efficiency is correlated with specific type of fibres: Type I, oxidative, slow twitch fibres.

@altini_marco Not to defend this article and the gadget, it means for me it's a good start to develop something new, and this is the first step on a very long process. It was a very good explanation @altini_marco thanks for the post.
@altini_marco Just technical and offtopic questions: I see you use probably R to visualize these data, how do you collect the training or heart rate data? Do you use any special R package?
@BasVanHooren@kenneth_meijer @LarsvanRengs @HumanMoveSci_UM @NMS_UM@WileyGlobal Yes, it's true however any changes in the running style will be forgotten as fatigue appears. It's very difficult anyway. 🤔
Whoop built a multi-bn $ company using a recovery score that has zero!!! correlation with other listed variables
do not put any stock in recovery, readiness, etc.
Best way to assess recovery is to look at your HRV, RHR, & ask "how recovered am I today"
