WATCH: Senate Republicans wouldn’t allow cameras in today b/c they wanted to hide from the public their final action to take sick leave away from millions of workers. In the end they broke their own rules so they can try one last time before tomorrow’s constitutional deadline.
A terribly high price will be paid by the majority members who showed contempt for their colleagues, for the honored chamber they were elected to serve in, and to the voters across this state.
We're proud to support SB 35, sponsored by @RobertsforSTL, to bring new life to Missouri's vacant downtown office buildings.

Thanks to my former colleague Senator @RobertsforSTL for championing the Revitalizing Downtowns and Main Streets Act that would establish a state incentive targeted at converting office buildings to mixed-use and residential.
It would be great for Kanssas City.
Senate Democrats are united in fighting back against Republican attacks on the minimum wage, reproductive rights, public education, labor unions, and more. So proud of this outstanding group of leaders as we reach the halfway point of the 2025 Legislative Session. Onward! #moleg
“Senator May and I were able to negotiate significant improvements to this bill to improve public safety in St. Louis. The most significant of these was in how the board of commissioners would be structured.” - Sen. @RobertsforSTL

A Democrat-run filibuster continues in the Missouri Senate over a public safety bill that, among other things, would give the control of @SLMPD to a governor-appointed board of police commissioners.
Sen. @RobertsforSTL is leading the extended debate. #moleg
Today, we hosted the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus for lunch at the Governor's Mansion along with special guest Colonel Reginald L. Bassa Sr., one of the oldest living Tuskegee Airmen.
@FirstLadyKehoe and I appreciate Colonel Bassa and his family for joining us and sharing more about their service to our country.
What a great way to continue celebrating Black History Month.

From the wars fought overseas to the ones fought at home, we honor our brave service members and their families who sacrificed everything to uphold our freedoms and the American way of life.
We thank you. We remember you. #MemorialDay
