@drcrouchback And if patients are wanting to talk about timescales I think it is important to be as honest as I can be, patients should have that information to help them make plans if they want to know

@drcrouchback I think this may be the main point remembered in a consultation. When I have spoken to patients about prognosis or heard other colleagues it has always been stressed as an average where patients may be different to average.
