HOLY SH*T, this parting statement by Scott Pelley is WILD:
"New management has instructed me to INJECT FALSEHOODS AND BIAS into a politically sensitive story. I've been told to include assertions that are unverified."
I bet he knows a LOT more, too. 🔥
New statement from Scott Pelley:
“Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.
For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.
At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.”
This is what this scumbag said when Sarah Everard was kidnapped, raped and murdered by a WHITE police officer.
Today, for the killing of Henry Novak by a Brown Sikh man, he calls the British public to "rage".

Lucky old black men with their ‘privilege’ of higher rates of prostate cancer! 🤷♂️
The Nuffield Trust’s ‘Workforce in Numbers’ series is an excellent public service in setting out key facts on the size shape and movement over time of the NHS workforce. It’s a shame that NHSE/DH+ don’t publish more (though tbh it wouldn’t be trusted in the same way the NT is)
The 31% increase in nurses between 2015-2025 has not been consistent across the different branches of nursing in England.
The number of children’s nurses increased by 41% while the number of learning disability nurses fell by 10%.

The catastrophic failure of policing on the night of Henry Nowak’s murder has shocked people across the country and across the political spectrum. What should happen is an urgent investigation into how such failure was possible and what changes to policing might be necessary. What should not happen is for Henry’s death to be used to stir division and tear our country further apart. Leadership is about bringing people together, not turning them against each other.
The gravy train continues.
Failed former CEO of Ofwat, David Black has reappeared at a consultancy company called BRG where he will "Advise firms and investors across regulated industries as they navigate shifting regulatory frameworks".
His boss? No less than former head of regulation at Thames Water one Colm Gibson.
As @PrivateEyeNews would say "Trebles all round". Well actually that's exactly what they did say. 👇👇👇
@henrywinter Let alone the value of finding out who isn’t quite good enough with loans to the various levels without it impacting your own league position or finances

One woman looks for love in all the wrong places in a film that walks a delicate balance between gritty reality and romantic fantasy. Top tier stuff.
