@LukeBeardsworth@RobynVinter I’d agree with this too. I’ve been very tall since I was in my early teens/chained to a desk my whole adult life and have always stooped. But regularly visiting a chiropractor and trying to be conscious of it have improved it a lot.
@sexandtheswiss 100% I’ve ridden bikes my whole life, aside from a period in my early twenties where I stopped and partied instead. Unsurprisingly, that’s also the period where my mental health hit an all time low. Bikes/sports in general are incredibly healing. Hope things start to get better!
@silogramm@theashrb This. You could literally live anywhere else! So many late license cultural venues/old boozers have gone because people want to make inner London into a village post 10pm.
For those who don't fully understand what is up with the NHS, here is a thread for you that might help.
I'm a consultant physician working as a doctor in the NHS in Yorkshire and Wales for 32 years now. I have experienced the NHS at its best (2008) and its worst (2022).
@LauraParkerUX Sorry you have to go through this. I always stand by Benjamin Zephaniah’s theory that being neuro-divergent can actually help with creativity. We see things differently. Solidarity from a dyspraxic copywriter 💪
@jviddy@AdamCSharp@NoContextBrits As someone who grew up there, that’s fair. See also ‘Basingrad’ (for all the 1960’s brutalist concrete it used to have) or ‘Amazingstoke’.
@Layo_FH I’m surprised people are so confident about coming out on top against a goose. The Canada Geese that populate Britain’s parks and riversides are hard as nails!
