@devilstatguy The way I see it, Novo isn't what we have come to expect as a true beat reporter. He's some hybrid of a beat reporter and a commentator. Hardly reporting news, but sharing his opinions a ton.
Sure, some agree with him, but why should I care about his take?
@bcostellothn The puck gets rimmed around the boards and hits it. You can tell by the players changing their direction. You can track with them following the puck around the boards. Creepy lookin tho!
@wyshynski They are public figures, so the teams putting them in a position to have to face public backlash is where I am saying they went wrong. Can we agree that public criticism is a form of punishment? Certainly not a reward! Extreme to say opting out of something is a protest.
@IanKennedyCK I don't think you understood what Gary was saying. You could make the case that the dissention of individual players actually harms an otherwise positive pride night. Why create space for those people and ruin it?
@timmy_nicks @IanKennedyCK I'm not saying you don't exist or that you don't belong. But whether we like it or not, among some people, these issues are "up for debate" as to whether or not they are "right or wrong". Just begs the question, how do you "address" that?
@IanKennedyCK If someone thinks it is morally wrong, wearing a jersey celebrating it probably feels a bit...hypocritical? Again, like being pro-life and being told to wear a planned parenthood jersey.
@IanKennedyCK As long as people view these issues as moral issues, dissenters will always exist. It's like saying "pro-lifers play hockey and that must be addressed".
Some people believe that being gay is morally wrong. How do you "address" that?
@AdamSchefter "My beautiful and wonderful children will continue to be the center of our world...on like a spiritual level. I will remain helplessly obsessed with football in practice."
@NJDevils@adidas@adidashockey I am starting to wonder if some devils fans don't understand the Reverse Retro campaign. Specifically the ones calling for a black jersey...
This is the perfect concept to release for a season and not feature as a permanent alternate jersey.
@16Dubb@devils1726 @ryannovo62 Fair. But cant we admit that getting injured playing hockey is very likely and the frequency at which you get injured is more a matter of luck than anything else?
