The open source report on the Chinese missile program is now available in English. No update, just a translation of the German version from June 2024.

NASA just officially unveiled their master plan for a permanent Moon Base at the lunar South Pole
This is not just about flags and footprints. NASA is moving to establish an enduring, sustained human presence, and they are heavily relying on commercial innovators to build it
The roadmap is highly aggressive:
• Phase 1: Heavy robotic missions and commercial payload deliveries
• Phase 2: Semi-permanent infrastructure, including fission surface power and lunar drones
• Phase 3: A sustained, permanent human outpost
The most important takeaway is NASA explicitly stated this base is the ultimate proving ground to prepare humanity for missions to Mars
While legacy aerospace companies are still struggling to reliably get a small capsule to the ISS, NASA is setting the stage for massive lunar infrastructure....which is exactly the kind of heavy-lift planetary deployment SpaceX’s Starship was designed for
The multi-planetary economy is officially kicking off
@SaakovValerij Has anyone actually measured the speed? Perhaps it’s an optical illusion. First two times we only saw those things briefly, falling out of low clouds.
Even the flûte was like “bro… I didn’t know I could do this either” 😭🎵
This absolute legend took the plastic recorder we all suffered through in 6th grade and turned it into Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing.”
Zero shame. Maximum talent. The flute is now in therapy.
#SultansOfSwing
Time to add my two cents to the debates about the recent NK missile launches. The important one is the “solid SRBM” or “SS-26/Iskander clone”, seen here. 1/10
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: https://t.co/rzM1P0QbOl
History in the making
In this new image from our @NASAArtemis II crew, you can see Orientale basin on the right edge of the lunar disk. This mission marks the first time the entire basin has been seen with human eyes.
The Integrity spacecraft just entered the lunar gravitational sphere of influence, at 0438 UTC Apr 6. Wiseman, Glover, Koch and Hansen are now the 25th to 28th humans to have left terrestrial space.
Something of note - These are the FIRST PHOTOS Shot on iPhone to be released from the Artemis II mission.
Both were captured on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
A cousin of the phone you have in your pocket right now has seen the whole Earth in one. single. frame.

The Moon astronauts shared their location…with all of us!

The coolest orbital animation I've seen of Artemis 2
Just really shows you how far away they're flying today and also how precise they need to be to go to the moon
What does the reported attack on Diego Garcia tell us about Iran’s missile capabilities? In this Q&A, SIPRI expert @RocketSchiller explains what we can glean from the limited information available.

Artemis II will lift off tomorrow, fly around the moon and return safely back to earth.
It starts with the six engines producing 8.8 million pounds of thrust and ends with a splashdown off the coast of California and a ship recovering the astronauts and capsule.
Here’s an animation of many of the dynamic and exciting steps that happen in between!
@SaakovValerij 🤷♂️ Perhaps. „4000 km, 2 stages“ simply is not enough data. Could also be that „2 stages“ was a mix-up of a separating warhead, putting the Khorramshahr back on the table as an option. 🤷♂️
The Chief of the General Staff of the IDF said today that Iran launched "2 two-stage ICBM towards Diego Garcia". The statement rules out Khorramshahr. The first page of my January 2024 report on Qaem-100 is kind of "I told you"....
@Matt_Costlow Is it really exo or could it be high endo ?
To me the most likely candidate is THAAD as we see two consecutive burns on this other video - though THAAD is given to be able to intercept over 100 km altitude.
