Got a bit wet this morning on the bike, but the #getmeactiveni challenge with @WWCTrustNI isn't just for fair weather cyclists! The team @DoransNI are loving the competition again this year
At @DoransNI we're enjoying the #getmeactiveNI challenge with @SustransNI this month. I took the scenic route back to the car this afternoon, and crossed over one of my early designs, the John Luke Bridge at the bottom of Newforge Lane

At @DoransNI we really enjoyed the #getmeactiveni challenge this year, and even managed to top our group for the most journeys logged. Looking forward to next year!
The @SustransNI Active Travel Challenge Awards took place this week ๐๐๐โโ๏ธ
The annual Challenge is a joint initiative between Sustrans @Translink_NI@publichealthni@BelfastTrust@belfastcc and Department for Infrastructure
It encourages people to consider walking, cycling & public transport as part of their usual routine - and log their journeys!
A variety of teams & individuals took part - and we met some of the winners ๐
Leaving the car here and taking the bike in to work as part of the @SustransNI#GetMeActiveNI challenge. Do I get extra points for doing it in the rain? ๐
@LandRover_UK @Channel4@LEGO_Group It was great fun! My biggest lego set ever, and my first for about 20 years! Now my 4 year old son wants to play with it all the time...
@bkauflin Great question- as the volunteer leader of an all-volunteer team, time is the big issue. Too often I have to spend so much time on practicalities that I have very little left for the creative side of things and Sunday just gets thrown together at the last minute- frustrating!
@RobBryher Going where we need to go! Despite having a bus stop at the end of the street and a railway station 10 mins walk away public transport is pretty poor round here. I generally cycle to work (faster than bus and cheaper than driving), but at least 2 days a week both cars are needed
A wee recording of my modern hymn, 'Grace alone'. Thanks to @knipehouse for the camera work.
'Now I share his resurrection; I have life because he lives. And I know, whatever happens, he is mine and I am his'.

@AndrewTRoycroft I get worship leader's nerves if that counts? Over the years the emphasis has shifted more from technical (will we play well?) to pastoral (will we help people encounter God?). Tends to be worse when I haven't led for a while- 1st Sunday after lockdown I was all over the place!
@rickhillni Yes. I'm not a reader- I just don't enjoy it. I like pictures, or listening to someone talk. It's a major achievement for me just to read the Bible regularly. But there seems to be an unwritten rule that to be a proper believer you need to devour Christian books by the dozen...
