Every few minutes in Southport today I’ve seen members of the local community coming out to give police officers sandwiches, drinks and sweets. Even buckets of water for the police horses. Clear the community here welcome their presence and appreciate their work.

I was checking my bank statement yesterday. Spent ages, thinking, I’d fallen victim to a scam. But it was @NTCouncilTeam who’d changed their details from “NT COUNCIL TAX” to “GENERAL INC”. Why?

@NTCouncilTeam Look, I’ve reported the problem to the Council’s social media team, provided a description of the location and photos of the problem. If you choose to do nothing about it and someone is injured as a result of the tree falling then you must bear responsibility.

Tried to book my car in @stratsonebmw, (Silverlink, Newcastle) for an MOT test in early December. Couldn’t do it as their brake testing equipment broken. New date of 18 December. Dropped my car off at 0800. Call from them at 1545 to say MOT not done - smoke test equipment broken!
