@sophia_hjkl This dataset came out 2 years after Suno and Udio trained their models, it’s just a list of popular songs on YouTube over a certain threshold. So if ur songs on it, yes it was likely trained on from YouTube as we already learned, but not from being in this dataset.
Guys this Atlantic watchdog music thing is a giant nothing burger
The dataset came out after Suno and Udio
Also all our music has been trained on ever since we uploaded it to YouTube, TikTok, IG, Spotify, Apple Music, etc
Research datasets are the last of our problems
@EpicArtFail@UnrealEngine I think a better analogy is writing the whole book and using AI to make it an audio book, even if the details aren’t theirs on the first generation, doesn’t mean they dont have full control over the delivery, voice, pauses, emotion, etc
Imagine waking up and realizing that your full time job entails using a digital cinema camera with a 65mm large format CMOS sensor fabricated on a sub-20nm semiconductor process, capturing 16-bit linear RAW image sequences at multiple gigabytes per second onto high speed NVMe media. Those images are then ingested into a distributed storage architecture, checksum-verified, transcoded into proxy codecs, synchronized via SMPTE timecode, color-managed through ACES pipelines, denoised with machine-learning models, reconstructed with optical flow algorithms, and composited using physically based rendering, ray tracing, volumetric simulation, deep compositing, photogrammetry, LiDAR scans, neural radiance fields, and GPU-accelerated particle systems and yet still.... deciding to believe that there's nothing artificial about any of it.
Believing that only now are we entering an era of computer generated imagery.
@MolodyGs@jadel4w@UnrealEngine I didn’t say they need to do that every week, now they can move on to the other infinite assets that need to get made and release those 100 slowly
@IsThisA3DModel@UnrealEngine Ah nice looks dope, you should share more of your work like that to support the constant criticism of AI tools that are genuinely beneficial for artists
@jadel4w@UnrealEngine So if the artist says I want to use 100 other human modelers and animators instead of AI, and you don’t have the budget, what do you do?
@IsThisA3DModel@UnrealEngine Coming from the anon account that’s never shared a single animation or 3D model you’ve made urself, hilarious that you think you have any authority on the matter when all you is critique art without creating and sharing any
@IsThisA3DModel@UnrealEngine lol another workflow that clearly benefits artists, uses AI, has no unethical aspects, and here comes the mob again complaining about nothing
@FerrisWheelPro Oh no! 100k retweets out of 8 billion people on earth won’t buy my game because I used new technology, let me go delete the whole thing and start over, oh no!
