The crowds at Kingsmead were incredible! So many emotions, doing Comrades Marathon once was a challenge and a dream come true, to do it again for a second time and get my Back-to-Back medal is honestly a privilege!

My 100th different @parkrunUK event this morning at Higginson parkrun, Marlow!
From flat tarmac paths to some very hilly off road courses to some absolute mudfests. It’s been an incredible experience and looking forward to many more parkrun events!

Claudia Burrough @Rolling_Runner was a @bushyparkrun regular when unsteadiness in her legs meant she had to use crutches & then a wheelchair.
Undaunted, she’s gone on finish major races including @ComradesRace & @LondonMarathon 💪
Tomorrow's Running Tales podcast is the awe-inspiring Claudia Burrough @Rolling_Runner - she's completed events from @parkrunUK to the @ComradesRace
Claudia is probably best summed up by the words in her Twitter bio: "Motivated by being told I won’t be able to do something"
2 years later than planned, it finally happened Comrades Marathon FINISHER 🎉 Everything was big: the crowd, the noise and of course the hills! Wasn’t sure what to expect but over the moon to finish the 90km in 8:35:41 well within the 12 hour cutoff!

Being an athlete is his full time job, part of that job is to comply with AD rules. Missing tests, especially 3, shows a disregard for the sport. Yes, he’ll miss Tokyo but now he can defend his other titles. Sport needs to be fair, for fans and athletes. https://t.co/C0mEPNnhsP
#ChooseToChallenge Everyday I challenge what people expect me to do because of my gender or disability & I’ll never stop. Thanks to strong females before me I have been given a platform to achieve so much but stereotypes still exist and we must continue to challenge this #IWD2021
