"@cityofChandler became the largest city in Arizona to pay off its #publicsafety pension debt, saving $8-10 million per year in the city's budget and ensuring its #police and fire employees receive their promised pensions."

#Chandler has practiced years of frugality and made sacrifices such as postponing community parks, senior centers, and other amenities in order to address the funding issue caused by financial mismanagement by the state and unions.
