@Godwin6Agaba FYI this is not Air Force One. There is no particular aircraft that is known as AF1. That designation is applied to any aircraft carrying POTUS, and he flies a different fleet. This craft is used for gov't/military VIPs.

@ElectionBabe A post-election follow-up: thank you for your advice. Turns out the Poll Pads were updated by ROV just before they were shipped to the AVL and I was able to update them again the day before we opened. Subsequent updates were super-quick. All else went smoothly. Thanks again!

@ElectionBabe @OrshakBen I was conducting election worker training at the Fremont Library today, which will also serve as an AVL starting 10/31. We too had at least 6 voters who tried to drop their VBM ballots with us. Luckily, the librarians knew the location of a nearby ballot box.

@ElectionBabe All of the training we and the election workers have taken are done offline, and I'm hoping we'll do a training session in a live environment before the election. Wish me luck and I'll report back how it goes.

@ElectionBabe Best as I can tell the BOD printers are not on the network. The poll book prints out a ballot form that goes to the BOD officer, who will call up the appropriate precinct via laptop. It doesn't appear the poll books are networked together.
