Mariska Hargitay’s MY MOM JAYNE is such a profoundly moving documentary. It starts out as an intimate and well-crafted biography of Jayne Mansfield that highlights the talent and brains behind the pretty face. Then it left me teary-eyed for the entirety of the final 30 minutes. So many affectionate moments! Since I don’t always pay attention to celebrity news, I was not aware of the revelation that came in the second half. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, just watch the film on Max before reading more about it.
