@lalingarcia24@nextlevelbb I mean what are they? I don’t disagree that coaches made unbelievably dumb rules. I’m just saying that have a right to make any rule they want that is not prohibited by law.
@krohrermd@NathanSRuiz 100%. The Times interview was a buzzkill if you were enjoying to prospects of what is to come with a young team. You would think you could only shoot yourself in the foot so many times.
@CougarTrainee@nextlevelbb The applicability of Crown Act was not something that was made clear. Coaches should be able to make any rule they want - including stupid, innate rules - as long as it not prohibited by statute.
@tberry1405@nextlevelbb I think these kids of rules are dumb. But a coach should make any rules he wants. Kids can choose to play there or not. Let the free market of players make their choice to play for that coach or not. Ii is easy rule that doesn’t require you to weight the merits of the rule
@nbbaseball2011@kjduke@pjonesbaseball Also, was it the wrong decision? They wanted to take their shot and they did. It depends on what your goals and aspirations are and what you want to get out of it.
@Demandred27@TomCottonAR Maybe some people have other values - Christianity being one - that lead to kindness and willingness to sacrifice (minor) self interests over nationalism. This is a simple point to grasp too, right?
I am proud to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at New York University. I want to thank God and all of my family, friends, and coaches who have been a part of this process. I also want to thank the NYU staff for this opportunity. Go Violets 🟣
