According to this video, MM did say that Mary Lou was ‘ag insint bréaga’ which translates as ‘telling lies’ but then denied it when she translated for the Ceann Comhairle who doesn’t speak Irish! Two points here: It’s not good when the Taoiseach lies on camera, denying saying another TD was lying and why do we have a Ceann Comhairle who doesn’t seem to understand the basics of our First National Language? How can she do Dáil business or understand Irish Law if she can’t understand our language? ‘Ag insint bréaga’ is Junior Primary School Irish! No wonder the whole world is laughing at Ireland! Was Mary Lou telling lies? God only knows, but either way, the Taoiseach should withdraw that remark. It’s at the very least, unprofessional, and the Ceann Comhairle should take Irish Language classes to enable her to do her job! Bíodh meas agaibh ar a chéile! (Translation for the Ceann Comhairle: Show some respect for each other!)🙄🙄🙄
