San Diego is the heart of our pacific coast military presence and capability
The fact that he isn’t boo’d off the stage is an indictment of the audience
Texas GOP melting down. Angela Paxton says hold your nose and vote. Paxton criticizes Trump’s big beautiful convention. Paxton complains about DC taking over his campaign. Trump thinks Paxton is ugly/doesn’t like his clothes/claims he doesn’t care about him. On the heels of Abbott down 5 in NYT/Siena, he decides he’s no longer campaigning with Trump. Cornyn not supporting Paxton.
Folks, the blame game has begun!
Davram Stiefler: “Is everyone worried about socialism?”
Trump supporter: “Oh, 100%. It never works”
DS: “For the viewers, what is socialism?”
TS: “Socialism is pretty much, I mean, it’s control of everything, I mean, they want control and there’s no… uhm… I don’t even… how to explain it, but… you have no control at all. I mean it’s just, it’s their way or the highway”
DS: “But as an economic form of governance, what is it?”
TS: “Socialism”
ICE deported Wendy Hernandez Reyes to Honduras without her 3-year-old U.S. citizen son, Orlin. Wendy says she repeatedly begged ICE to let her take him; weeks later, Orlin was dead.
Authorities say the relative caring for him subjected him to horrific abuse, including broken bones, burns, signs of sexual battery, and at least 17 blows to the head. He has been charged with murder and pleaded not guilty.
ICE then publicly accused Wendy of “abandoning” her child. She says she never did.
Now lawmakers have introduced Orlin’s Law, named after her son, which would restrict ICE from detaining or deporting parents and primary caregivers unless they pose a public-safety threat.
Cannot be stressed enough that his administration is front of the Supreme Court right now claiming he is not acting with animus towards transgender people
We're gonna get a news cycle parsing through Trump's "let 'em take out Los Angeles" comments, with media folks straining to give the most charitable interpretation of what he actually meant.
But one thing's clear - that Nebraska crowd cheered on the prospect of LA getting nuked.
The IDF came into my replies to try & boost their fake report accusing Palestinian journalists they murdered of being Hamas. But when @piersmorgan invited them to debate the so-called evidence with me, they didn't show up so... he empty-chaired them. And then I debunked their 'study'.
Full show, including my debate with two Israeli propagandists: https://t.co/W37cIlVg2a
The POTUS was at one of his recent "rallies"......and he was talking about his idiotic war with Iran.
As he was talking about it, he suddenly (and openly) says this out loud, clear as day:
"If they get a nuclear weapon, they can take out one of our cities. That's okay. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego…...."
The President of the United States made a flippant, dismissive comment.....about a hostile enemy potentially wiping out TWO OF HIS OWN CITIES.....IN HIS OWN COUNTRY.......by way of a nuclear attack.
For chrissakes, America.
When is enough, enough?
WHEN?
Haven't YOU had enough?
This man just invited a foreign enemy to kill millions of Americans on American soil and Ken Paxton will proudly stand next to him on a Texas stage on Wednesday.
We have 29 days to change the next two years and beyond. And we will.
Was just thinking how the media questioned Kamala Harris's qualifications for POTUS even though she'd spent 7 yrs as a District Attorney, 6 yrs as CA AG + 4 yrs as a US Senator b4 becoming VP while no one asks JD Vance whose only time in govt was 2 yrs as a Senator that question
The most revealing part isn’t even the juvenile “Trannie” slur. It’s an 80-year-old president hijacking his own Senate endorsement to complain that Lindsey Graham once called somebody else smart, reliable, and loyal because Trump thought the compliments should have been about him.
Imagine being 80 and still needing every birthday card to mention you.
She was probably absent because this was already a law that has been repeatedly passed (5 times, actually) whenever Republicans need a click bait headline.
But thanks for the reminder that you are so incompetent that you’ve taken to just passing the same laws over and over.
It took ProPublica reporters $45 and a flag to start a private school in Arkansas. No teaching experience. No background check. Nobody asked what they'd teach or how they'd measure whether kids were learning.
Last month I showed you Alpha School getting rejected as a charter in Texas, then approved for the state's voucher program anyway. This is that same pipeline with even fewer guardrails.
In Arkansas, the reporters registered an LLC online and got a certificate the same day. Then they applied to get public money as a microschool. It took about 10 minutes and two documents. No accreditation, no proof of financial solvency, and no cap on how many students they could enroll. They set their tuition at $7,208, the exact voucher amount per student. When they asked the state about it, an Education Department employee didn't reject them. He suggested ways they could still get the money.
In West Virginia they filed on notebook paper. The state told them to take the "microschool route," where no one has any oversight. The department says it does not approve or deny microschools for any reason, including the qualifications of the owner. Unlimited students, by law.
The reporters never took a dime and never enrolled a kid.
But nothing stopped them from doing either. Arkansas has gone from under 100 private schools to more than 220 since its voucher program started, plus 143 microschools approved this year alone.
Anyone can open one. The state can't stop you. And your tax dollars are paying for it all.
🚨The 8th Circuit just paused Minnesota’s ban on AI nudification after Elon Musk’s xAI yelled First Amendment. Ten of the eleven judges were picked by Republicans.
The conservative-dominated court didn’t even bother explaining their reasoning, releasing a one-sentence statement.
A lower court had let the law stand, but the 8th Circuit reversed it.
This is the same 8th Circuit that said private groups cannot sue under the Voting Rights Act.
This is why voting is important in every single election.
