Franklin doesn’t train robots himself.

That’s what I find interesting about PrismaX. Human operators interact with real robots, those actions become verified training data, and the data helps physical AI improve over time.
The robot may be the one learning.
But Franklin knows what keeps the system fed.

An agent pays a contractor 1,000 USDC for work delivered. It appeared clean at the time. Real invoice, real deliverable. Three days later new information surfaces and the money traces back upstream to something illicit. An exchange restricts it. The work is already done. Who eats the loss?
There is no standard machine-native way to answer that today. Card networks have shipped agentic payment frameworks, while the payments industry still describes liability allocation as unresolved.
I want to make that decision part of the payment itself. What bothers me is that the recipient can do everything right and still inherit a risk they never had a chance to evaluate.
The parties commit to a liability rule before the payment, not after the problem. When funds are later reclassified, GenLayer judges one question: given only what was reasonably knowable when the payment was accepted, did the recipient meet the agreed standard? The verdict sends the loss where the parties already agreed it should go: the protection pool, the payer's bond, the platform's bond, or the recipient.
Law already has the principle. Good-faith acquisition for digital assets is in the UCC amendments and UNIDROIT, and an English court has recognized that the bona fide purchaser defence can apply to USDT. What's missing is a way to apply it at machine speed, inside the payment.
To be clear about the boundary: this doesn't clean the money or unfreeze anything. It decides who bears the loss, not whether the asset is legally spendable.
Why GenLayer and not a smart contract: "good faith" and "reasonable commercial conduct" are interpretive standards. You can't reliably reduce them to a single deterministic threshold. Kleros is general-purpose arbitration for disputes. This puts a specific liability rule inside the payment before the dispute exists.
Why now: human payment systems fall back on manual review and case-by-case escalation. That works when a bad payment is an exception. Agents make it a category, and you can't escalate a category.
Honest limitation: judging conduct at transaction time is only as good as the evidence captured at that moment. Get that wrong and the whole thing is theatre.
