@OBtoojiveforyou So it's your opinion that Brandon Aiyuk, after not playing football since 2024 and coming off a major knee reconstruction, is worth the contract the Commanders would take on? ($27M in 2026, $28M in 2027, and $30M in 2028). Trade for him you get the player, but also the contract!

@FullCommandShow The real difference is Treylon Burks has had his chances in the NFL (122 targets). Dyami Brown has had his chances (152 targets). McCaffrey has not had his chance yet (42 targets in 2 years). Still relatively new to the WR position. Look for him to have a breakout year in 2026.

@Reggyreg51 @Tiller56 On the other hand, if they draft a defensive player that elevates the entire defense and helps to create turnovers (Caleb Downs, David Bailey, Sonny Styles) - that helps the offense was well as Jayden Daniels with more offensive series and shorter fields.

@Tiller56 I don't consider Fernando Mendoza a 'blue chip' player. He will be drafted #1, but ONLY because he is a QB. I have his ceiling as a marginal/average starter (ala Kirk Cousins).

@Tiller56 Well when you are the "best" QB in a poor QB draft - you get over-hyped. Had Mendoze been in the 2024 draft he may have been QB7, picked after Bo Nix... Maybe in the 3rd round even.

On the other hand, Payne has a very large cap hit and teams might not want to take on that much money. So the return might not be much.
