@Will_J_C@steveschale Also they’re not donors, they’re independent expenditures, and the money is most likely coming legitimately from dark money industry non profits.
@Will_J_C@steveschale To me, I’m not even sure what commonality exists between a Democrat who supports Haley and Abdul at this point besides not a Republican.
And that’s extremely disappointing. ✌️

Democrats love to trot out mummies like Clyburn because it allows them to cloak themselves in the moral authority of the civil rights movement on behalf of Israel and insurance companies, but another huge benefit is that they can turn the racism dial all the way up
Genuinely makes zero sense these people don’t have any clue what “money in politics” means at all.
It’s such a fucking absurd framing of the issue just say you’re supportive pf keeping citizens united at this point.
“He talks about money out of politics, money in your pockets but we don’t know who’s been putting money into his pocket,” Stevens says of El-Sayed. “You got large scale corporations… the podcast… He’s not just taking corporate money maybe he’s the commercial for it.”
There’s genuinely nothing that could be in a personal financial disclosure that would make anyone change their mind about the things that matter in this race.
It’s not who has more money in their bank, it’s who wants you to have more in yours, and more power over your own life.
@ryangrim I personally have never felt the need to get a crowd riled up but when the guy said “and a new senate majority leader” I was the loud ass clap after the awkward laughs.
We got a whole room of suburban and metro democrats to clap against Chuck Schumer being majority leader. Wow.
@jolsterrr@samueljrob Of course they didn’t, these are deeply transactional individuals who call themselves community leaders yet they don’t have communities to lead, if they did, they wouldn’t be struggling to beat Rashida, it’s hubris.
I’m sorry anyone who acts this way does not truly believe in the politics they say they do, you’re willing to throw it all away over someone being slightly mean. It’s not something you hold that deeply.
I was honestly pretty apathetic in the Michigan primary. I don't hate Abdul and Stevens seems to be a little *too* pro-israel. But as usual progressives operate in such a nasty and hateful mob-style way especially against FEMALE candidates that i've been polarized into rooting for Stevens
@LiberalHegemony In fact, I’m being entirely generous to you because you call yourself a liberal and yet you yourself do not even hold the basic values of a liberal. You call yourself that as an anti-left reaction.
@LiberalHegemony You genuinely have nothing in common with good, moral people. You’ve lost it, you’re fine with dark money in politics, you’re fine with an implied quid pro quo of Haley being bought by DTE and industry PACs, and you don’t believe the American people have a say in foreign policy.
