@stevenmarkryan That moment really stood out. Then all of the bad actors doubled down on bashing Musk brands. That was when I doubled down on supporting the same brand by purchasing a Tesla M3, Solar, Starlink, and of course $TSLA. We'll get the last laugh.
Having put just 1,700 miles on our Cyberbeast, we decided to take our first road trip from Connecticut to Punta Gorda, Fl just this past Thursday. This was the first time we truly experienced FSD other than just around town. On the way down the only time we encountered issues with navigating was when we intervened. Then we'd reflect and say, 'we should have just trusted the navigation/FSD'. We force-navigated FSD over the Mario Cuomo on the way down to avoid the Washington bridge in NYC (7am). On the way back we intended to do the same, but FSD showed that we'd arrive home 2 hours earlier going over the Washington bridge at 3AM. By this time we had built up enough experience with FSD that we chose the suggested route and after 23 hours of driving, a 3hr vs 5hr remainder sounded sweet. It all worked out as planned despite a truck accident on the upper level. Near the bridge entrance we literally squeezed between parked trucks on either side of us (who were going to the upper level), then glided effortlessly to the Merritt Parkway. FSD did all the work. No looking for signs, no white-knuckling the steering wheel. Just 'Navigate home' and trust the vehicle to get us there.
Cyberbeast in FSD just casually avoided a big truck tire tread on the highway โ swerved smoothly like the other cars ahead. I started to intervene but held off... and didn't need to. This kind of evasive action happens routinely now. Huge credit to @Tesla@cybertruck@wmorrill3 and the entire Tesla FSD team for building systems that handle real-world chaos so well!

Fun fact: Left CT for FL last week with 1,700 miles on the Cyberbeast (~200 FSD miles / 12%). Returned home this morning with 4,767 total miles and 2,990.7 FSD miles (63%). From departure to return, it drove itself ~91% of the trip. Wow! Treat yourself and purchase a Tesla.
@elonmusk Large accounts should be rewarded for engaging with small accounts. The hidden quality content from small accounts would emerge. Amuse is great about engaging with small accounts.
It's still pretty new for us so I still have a lot to learn about the system. We haven't received our first full month utility bill yet, but I expect to see it appear in the coming week. Free Supercharging is good for as long as I own the truck. I purchased the truck in January before they did away with the FSD and free supercharging for life. The solar benefits my wife more bc she was paying about $70/month to charge her Model 3. I'll use superchargers for $0 and top off at home when I have excess solar. The house uses a constant 0.3kW when we're not running things, so there's plenty to spare after the Powerwall gets recharged (usually by 11-12PM).
@RonDeSantis@HerbClinypnr Just traded in my '01 Ford Ranger for a Cyberbeast. I suffered long enough without power steering or ac, not to mention working on my own cars for 40 years. This may be the greatest trade-in delta of all time. (Sound on, wait for it).
@robbystarbuck@NFL@nflcommish I stopped watching when the kneeling BS began. The league has gone downhill ever since. Prior to that I watched regularly. Don't miss it.
Hey @elonmusk, hopefully you see this. I know Tesla is planning to move FSD to a subscription only model, which makes sense from a business perspective.
But I have a proposal. The people who bought FSD outright didn't just buy a feature. They invested in the vision. They funded the early development and helped train the AI to where it is today. That contribution should be recognized, not erased.
FSD should stay with their accounts, not be locked to one car's VIN. In ten years, when they upgrade to a new Tesla, they shouldn't have to start a subscription. Instead, they should carry FSD forward as a badge of honor. It would be proof they helped build this.
Imagine a small identifier in the app showing they were early believers. We all love Tesla and believe in an autonomous future. This would honor the community members who truly paved the way.
Let's recognize the pioneers who helped make FSD a reality. @aelluswamy@Tesla_AI@siddawa@larsmoravy@Tesla@tesla_na@cybertruck@woodhaus2@wmorrill3
