8 months now since the last event here, looking back through the past 4 years I've seen all sorts in this space. Lucky if I was ever away for more than a week. I would never have imagined I'd ever be away this long. Let's hope we can be back soon! #WeMakeEvents
@AvantiWestCoast Hi, I have submitted delay repay for 3x tickets booked for the same train & booking reference. Two have been approved however the third denied including an appeal. Same journey same train, seats next to each other. Is there a contact I can speak to review this?
@AvantiWestCoast Thank you :) Will do. Could I provide some feedback and ask if it' possible to make the buttons a bit further apart on the page? Or perhaps a yes/no confirmation prompt that you wish to cancel?
@AvantiWestCoast Hi, I accidentally pressed cancel claim rather than submit claim while trying to accept the automatic delay repay following the delayed 11:36 GLC - EUS train yesterday and now the claim has vanished. Do I have to submit it manually now?
@AvantiWestCoast Hi, I am getting this error while trying to book tickets via your website. The website is offering me advanced singles for both journeys so I would assume there is seats still available? Is there an easier way to check before getting this far in the process?
Hi @ScotRail
Is the app the best place to get updated train times with the temporary timetable? Or is it better to trust the timetable on the website?
Looking to get the 2205 from Ayr to Glasgow tonight but not sure if it's running?
Thank you to passengers for your patience while we have had scaffolding in the station.
We have started to take it down.
Coming soon, replacement advertising screen for partners @JCDecaux_UK
Anyone else find it absurd that you have to create an account to find your nearest postbox on the @RoyalMail app? Not trying to track, or to purchase a delivery.. Nope I'm only trying to find the closest postbox... it's madness
So it turned up! π
The first ever @BeeNetwork service arrives at Farnworth Bus Station at 4.30am.
Greater Manchester is back in control of its buses. ππ»
People make the argument about getting rid of parking spaces or pedestrianising streets will hurt business but seem fine with blocking almost the entire view of a business from the street. (What's the bet this vehicle contained only a single person as well?)
Urban design colleagues of a young woman who was killed in a cycling crash have started a campaign to make several Glasgow City Centre traffic junctions safer.

I saw someone trying to argue that we are being "forced" onto bikes because the local bike hire scheme made them free for the cycling world championships. I'd hate to break the news to them that the 55,000+ journeys last month were people actively choosing to pay to hire...
@RoyalMailHelp I have a red "Something for you" card. Package was undelivered due to address being 'Inaccessible". Dated 27/7 but online redelivery portal says I can't get it redelivered due to the maximum 18 day period? No post office listed on card to collect. What can I do?
ScotRail new timetable earlier this year saw a reduction in late night trains to Ayr/Prestwick/Troon/Irvine. On Saturdays the last train used to be 0015 (on the Sunday am) but now it's 2330. I used to remember getting night X77 busses also however these have too been stopped.
Monday was another damning day for the government at the Covid Inquiry.
It is becoming clearer what the recommendations from the Inquiry are likely to beβ¦
But there is also a bigger question raised about criminalityβ¦

@AvantiWestCoast Hi, managed to get to our reserved seats but it's very busy. We've just been told that certain carriages are too heavy with too many people on them which is a first for me π . Staff very helpful though which we do appreciate!
@AvantiWestCoast Some reservations aren't showing on the 9:34 from Glasgow to London. Train is fully booked according to train crew but we don't know which seats are actually booked or not
