Little challenge for the Quest 3 owners: Go to https://t.co/WEyoo2TRFB and see how many words per minute you can type on the surface keyboard. My record stands at a modest 32 wpm (95% accuracy).
Apparently Boz can type 120 wpm. Not saying that’s bs but I’d like to see proof
I truly hope we'll start seeing some embodied #AI agents like this one on @specs .
The device is 100% capable, and there are so many opportunities to be explored.
I cannot wait to see what developers will build.
Agentic Object-SLAM! Early experiments testing Astra’s 4D capabilities. Got it to reconstruct and track tabletop objects and hand pose, then loaded the scene into MuJoCo for a robot to copy the human action.
PCB: 135 parts, 514 pads, 4 layers. I designed almost none of it.
An AI harness in VS Code calculated every part, read every datasheet, drew the schematic, checked its own work.
What would you build if the next board cost an afternoon?
Always wanted to play with my physical Pokémon cards in AR, so I unleashed Astra + CLAD on it… they did not disappoint!
⚡️🥽
Basically a fully playable proto with all 151 mons from SV 151.

as intelligence becomes cheap software, value instantly flows into physical embodiment, building dashboards is a solved game; the entire margin has moved back to physical hardware that manipulates the real world
hugging face proves that the next wave of iconic tech companies will be defined by embedding open intelligence into low-cost modular bodies at scale
we spent 20y trapping intelligence behind glass screens and selling subscriptions for digital air, the future belongs to those who return to the physical plane, binding infinite compute to physical matter to build fragile, beautiful, autonomous kinetic objects that bridge code and nature
Depth-aware light injection in TypeGPU
I got a 448x448 monocular depth model down to ~8 ms on my M4 Pro across ~250 dispatches, which is fast enough to use in realtime :D
Since the inference is written directly in TypeGPU, I can just feed the depth buffer straight into the lighting pass. It never has to leave the GPU or go through any extra synchronization/interop step
Inference, lighting and draw all go through the same command encoder.
🔝 You are still on time to work at BCBL!
We have a Research Assistant position available to work on the project “Disordered speech” in our #JuniorLab from Vitoria-Gasteiz.

UI/UX Designers, this might be one of the best animated component libraries to bookmark.
Thinking Orbs gives you animated thinking orb components in different sizes big or small, light & dark modes, plus a playground to experiment with them.
