They have seen nothing yet, this is only the beginning. Let those who thrive on criminality, fraud, and blackmail continue if they so choose; our solemn duty is to expose evil, unmask every form of criminality, and enlighten the vulnerable against deception, propaganda, and falsehood. Premium Times one of the most significant admissions in this report is not merely the reduction in violence after Simon Ekpa's imprisonment.
It is the acknowledgement that "those loyal to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu" consistently disassociated both him and IPOB from Simon Ekpa's (Obere Midget)activities.
This acknowledgement matters because it recognises that there was a clear distinction between the organisation led by #NnamdiKanu through its Directorate of State (DOS) and the autonated madness that emerged around Simon Ekpa.
For years, We (the DOS and many supporters) maintained that Ekpa neither represented Nnamdi Kanu nor acted under the authority of IPOB.
Whether everyone accepted that position is a separate question and discussion for another day, but the historical fact is that this distinction was repeatedly asserted.
If that is now acknowledged, then it raises further questions.
1. Were those who defended that distinction unfairly criticised at the time including myself?
2. Are they being criticised and attacked still?
3. Did the failure of many observers to recognise the separation contribute to public confusion about responsibility for violent acts?
4. How should that historical record now be understood?
To be continue.....

Community Outrage in Owerri West as Police Detain Vigilantes Who Confronted Alleged Kidnapping Fulani Herdsmen
Tensions are rising in Obibiezena and Ihiagwa communities in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State following the arrest and detention of local vigilante members by police. The vigilantes had reportedly confronted Fulani herdsmen accused of involvement in frequent kidnappings along the axis.
Residents are questioning the action of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Agballa Police Station, demanding his immediate removal. Many in the community view the detention as misplaced priority and a failure to address the real security threat posed by alleged criminal herdsmen operating in the area.
“Why would the DPO Agballa Police Station detain Vigilante Members who confronted Fulani Herdsmen who kidnap people on a daily basis in Obibiezena & Ihiagwa axis of Owerri West?” a concerned community source asked.
The incident has sparked widespread protest, with locals insisting that the DPO “MUST GO.” Residents claim the vigilantes were actively responding to a persistent security challenge that has led to repeated abductions and fear in the farming and residential communities.
Obibiezena people have maintained a firm stance, describing the police action as protective of alleged criminals rather than the victims. They argue that instead of supporting local efforts to curb kidnapping, the police are targeting those risking their lives to defend the community.
A community representative stated that further investigations would be conducted into the circumstances surrounding the detention. “We shall carry out further investigations on this!” the source added.
The Obibiezena–Ihiagwa axis has reportedly experienced heightened cases of kidnapping allegedly linked to Fulani herdsmen in recent times. Residents complain of daily threats, loss of farmlands to herders, and frequent abductions that have disrupted normal life and economic activities in the agrarian area.
Vigilante groups, often formed as a community self-help initiative in the face of perceived inadequate policing, have been at the forefront of confronting these threats. The latest detention has deepened distrust between the police and the affected communities.
As of press time, there has been no official statement from the Imo State Police Command regarding the detention of the vigilantes or the allegations against the DPO. Community leaders are mobilizing and calling for the immediate release of the detained vigilantes and a thorough probe into the DPO’s conduct.
The situation remains tense, with residents warning that failure to address their concerns could lead to further unrest or loss of confidence in law enforcement institutions in the area.
This incident adds to a growing list of security related complaints in parts of Imo State, where accusations of police complicity or misplaced priorities continue to surface in rural communities battling herder related violence and kidnapping.
Further developments are expected as community leaders press for accountability and improved security measures.

A reminder to those who have taken the Biafra struggle as their family inheritance and to others, it’s their company , others are employees .
They have forgotten so soon how we get here , the sacrifice, the lives lost , the imprisonment, the exile, its trauma and challenges.
We must respect ourselves in this struggle and behave because Biafrans won’t take rubbish from anyone who plays down on the sacrifice of our people .

IPOB & ESN Have Been Peaceful For Over 10 Years – Direct Message To Nigerian Military From Lolo Nneka Chimezie https://t.co/OqdiUAxQBa
Why is the Nigerian Army still heavily deployed in the South East, which is currently the most peaceful region in Nigeria?
In this powerful video message, Lolo Nneka Chimezie, National President of the Igbo Women Assembly (IWA), calls on the Nigerian Military to redirect their energy and resources to the North and Kwara State where insecurity has significantly increased.
She states that IPOB and ESN are peaceful organizations and questions why the military has remained in the South East for over a decade while real insecurity continues to escalate in other parts of the country. According to her, the insecurity in the South East has been sponsored by the Federal Government through non-state actors. WATCH HERE https://t.co/OqdiUAxQBa

CONFIRMED:
Brigadier General UBA Captured by ISWAP Despite Military’s Denial
ISWAP has confirmed the killing of the 25 Brigade Commander, Damboa, in Borno State, Brigadier General M. Uba, following last Saturday’s ISWAP ambush on his convoy. He was captured alive while the terrorists interrogated him briefly before summarily executing him.
The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) abducted Yu Uba, a Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army, who was leading his troops on Friday.
Brigadier Uba and his men were in a convoy with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) near Sabon Gari in the Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State on Friday when members of the ISWAP terrorist sect opened fire on them at about 5 pm.
Two soldiers and two members of the task force lost their lives in the ambush.
Following the incident, the military issued a statement to discredit reports of Uba’s abduction. One of the earliest reports was published by HumAngle.
On Saturday, Appolonis Anele, the army’s director of public relations, issued a statement denying the abduction and below is an extract from their press release
“The Army Headquarters also wishes to debunk the fake narrative going round some media platforms online alleging the abduction of the Brigade Commander. The general public is hereby advised to disregard the fake news regarding the incident”
This is to show you how deceptive the Nigerian military could be , if they can deny the capture of a Brigader General by ISWAP , imgaine how many times they have denied the killing of Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria.

The Yorubas will always fight against any seaport in south east to be operational. They don’t want Calabar seaport to work , they will claim it’s not deep.
They don’t want Igweocha seaport to work , they will say it need drainage and there is no fund for that. They’re continuously sabotaging the Onne seaport . Today , they’re fighting against any operational service at Warri seaport .
