@CryptBat Our mold arrived a little late for to make it into our last set of pours/drop, but we were finally able to pour these cute little guys!
Our guess is this mold was from @RougeObsessions
@LovemuscleT I wonder if there was a pocket of air trapped down there as it’s so narrow, so while spraying that acted as a cushion and didn’t allow spray drift?
Good news, the master sculpt survived and the quality of finish of the first pour is ✨ Bad news, I’ve lost about 8 hours of work… I’ve got to throw out my glove mold, plaster jacket and first pour as the tip stuck to the mold 🥲
@LovemuscleT I think it was because we sprayed the ease release while it was not inverted so the aerosols may not have drifted down there. Next time we will invert and spray the tip and push it back through for a bit more. What do you think it could have been?
@Dovah_Peen I used medium monster clay, but am interested to amtry Apoxie sculpt one day. monsterclay is easy to use but can be damaged easily so the more detail you make the more careful you need to be
Base work session tonight was fun. All 100% hand sculpted out of monster clay. Final tweaks and smoothing, then the mold making starts. I’m always a bit nervous when making a mold as a fail can destroy my one off sculpt
@EroticEffect We’ve yet to really crack how to do a fade … one day 🤞. Your fades are amazing. Oh yes a resin printer would be amazing and with a sand blaster you’d be the shop dad of the pacific
