Hey guys! Quick update on what’s going on with this account! -Bubbles

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

Yes this was noteworthy enough to warrant bringing back this account

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

Despite them mentioning taking a step back from AI in their response to Block Quest backlash, Rovio posted a video this morning for International Women’s Day using Hatchlings very clearly animated with AI. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@R3dFlockLeader These lies make me sick. I thought you were better than this. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@DikkeKip2 This isn’t even mid, this is like, OBJECTIVELY the worst angry birds game ever made.

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

A new softlaunch, Angry Birds Block Quest, has been released. Not only is it a match-3 game, but the artwork is done by AI. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@thefoster55555 I’m pretty sure that’s why Chuck is consistently shown to just be Red but painted yellow, too. AI is scarily good at replicating Red but fails miserably if it tries to generate any of the other birds lol

We’re back!!! We took a bit of a summer vacation (nobody wants to deal with Rovio 24/7) but now that it’s September we took some time to look over everything we missed! -Bubbles

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

Ben Mattes saw that we liked the new comics being made and thought it meant that we liked him now, even though the main reason it’s a breath of fresh air to most people is the mere fact that he’s not making them. -Hal

To clarify, the only contribution Rovio made to Sonic Rumble was permission to use Beacon, a software that only handles game aspects related to monetisation. There will be an obscene amount of microtransactions in Sonic Rumble upon its official release thanks to them. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

In case you hadn’t seen, Sonic Rumble, the upcoming Sonic mobile title, uses Beacon. -Hal

-the tweet isn’t used to immediately invalidate every future tweet I make on this account (kinda like what people unfairly do with Network) as this was completely unintentional and I try to post factual info on this account. (2/2)

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

Apologies for this. I had heard about this internship about a year ago from a friend but refrained from really mentioning it anywhere as the listing was nowhere to be found, but a source of the listing was discovered today and without thinking much, I posted it. I ask that- (1/2)

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@Twisted_Break IIRC the icon is just like that on some devices. It was like that on mine yesterday so it must just be in specific regions/on specific devices

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

Better look at the image and yep, that’s AI. https://t.co/Ru9csof2AY

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

AB Pop just got a new icon and the Eagle (not the Blue) is most likely AI generated. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

What proof is there that this is AI, you may ask? Well, there’s nothing concrete, but the style and shading of the Eagle looking like how AI generates cartoon characters, as well as the claws looking kinda weird combined with this company’s obsession with AI makes it likely. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@MDaSkele Oh okay, here it is

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

A tier list of Angry Birds games based on if they’re dead, discontinued, bound to die soon or are still alive. -Hal

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@ErMun_Gand Its servers shut down last June and nobody’s heard anything about it since.

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@RXQ1jj It got delisted roughly 6 months ago to make way for an apparent “better version” they were gonna work on and absolutely nothing has been heard from it since.

[Rovio Ruinings With Hal @RovioRuiningHal]

@MDaSkele If you go into the game, you should get a pop-up saying it’s been discontinued.
