Nurses of the @RoyalNavy, @BritishArmy and @RoyalAirForce, alongside their brothers and sisters in arms, will be at work throughout the festive season to keep Britain, and her interests around the globe, safe. Thank you all, I am proud of you on Christmas Day, and every day 🤶👏
Thanks to the team for this extremely thoughtful series of #EITR workshops, continuing to improve the understanding, having the difficult conversations and striving to ensure we value the whole team. I look forward to building on the excellent work @DMS_JHG_South.
FS Sarah Hayward, RAF Medic (Paramedic) representing the RAF today at a visit to Surgeon General’s Dept with military and NHS colleagues to showcase the training carried out by military students @DMS_DefMedAcad. @DMS_ComdJHG@RAFMedServices@DMS_MilMed
@SailorPsych This could be fundamental to the @RN_Enabled Network as we would love be to be included. We are not SME’s in MH but always appreciative for insight in order for us to be able to sign post appropriately in the best interest of our personnel that come to us for guidance.
The DMS have stood alongside our NHS colleagues to support the delivery of an effective and efficient booster vaccination service – Here are 5 things you need to know about MACA requests https://t.co/DsXuOsuaHB
@maryisfabulous_ I too have had both vaccines and the booster and still tested positive after spiking a temp of 38.5, swollen and sore throat and all jaw glands ballooning! If I hadn’t had the vaccines then I wouldn’t be able to look after myself and while I still feel rubbish….
Welcome back to Lt Cdr Kim Cockcroft @HMSQNLZ’s Senior Nursing Officer for the Medical & Dental Dep 🏥
A very busy 7mnths providing primary healthcare to the Ship’s company and embarked forces, she returned home today after being joined for the final 6wks by PONN Laura Bissett⚓️
Today, we officially launched @RN_Enabled, hearing from our senior advocate and importantly powerful stories from people across the @RoyalNavy who may be disabled, have chronic conditions or be a carer but are #enabled to Serve their country.
#WeAreEnabled
1/3 It was a great pleasure to contribute to the virtual @RN_Enabled event this afternoon, but even more important for me to listen to experiences of people living with disabilities in the @RoyalNavy. Learning from carers & those living with chronic illness further opened my eyes.
1/7 What is that little red HIV dot? A thread.
I have been asked some questions about what it’s like to serve in the Armed Forces with HIV, so here is a thread answering some of those Qs to hopefully generate better understanding about why living with HIV is ok #PositivelyServing
@SrgCdreMarshall @RoyalNavy@RAdmPhilHally@HMSQNLZ@HMS_Richmond I’m awaiting the arrival of @HMSQNLZ to see one of my besties be reunited with her family and it will be tears all round for sure! Always here for you and your family Kim! ❤️xxx
@SrgCdreMarshall @AdmTonyRadakin@RAdmPhilHally@RNReserve@RN_MSOfficer Absolutely Agreed @surgCdreMarshall… a truly inspiring symposium so far with accounts from the lived experience at the front line of maritime Ops to the Strategic level…. Wholly inclusive of all ranks and rates and such a buzz about the RNMS being able to get together F2F again
@AshleyBanjo@PrideOfBritain@carolvorders Much love to both of you and after serving for 29 yrs so far, thank you for appreciating those that go above and beyond in all walks of life! All nominations are amazing and I’ll no doubt have tissues at the ready when I watch it!You have one of the RN Nursing Officers supporting!
@AshleyBanjo@PrideOfBritain@carolvorders Couldn’t think of a better person to Co Host with Carol! I’ve literally just finished watching your documentary and I truly felt your love for moving forward with positivity and just shear frustration with those that are so tunnel visioned that they don’t like to be questioned
@usopen@EmmaRaducanu Proud is an understatement right now @emmaRaducano, well done lovely lady and you are an amazing athlete and lovely person 💕lots of of love from Sharron and Lola the pooch xx
@TriScalpel These so called ‘equivalent’ words are out dated and really quite offensive now!…. I’ve served for 28 years thus far and I really do need to see a change to engage our formidable females!
