It’s a beautiful day for @Br_EPS conference @portsmouthuni Looking forward to insightful, thought- provoking discussions around #sustainability and pro-environmental behaviour.
@IoloWilliams2 Please check out this short film created by the Living Seas Youth Forum at @CBMWC in New Quay. They’ve worked super hard to communicate such a powerful message. Ps he’s still coming for your job 😉!!

So inspired by @BBCTwo’s #AmazingHotels at the Phinda Game Reserve. Can’t wait to help the industry understand how guests experiencing such incredible wildlife moments can be motivated to increase and sustain their pro-environmental behaviours once home #wildlife@SHTMatSurrey
@LauraThoWal I’m looking at how #transformational tourism experiences (#wildlife experiences in particular) can encourage the uptake of sustained PEBs among travellers once they return home. It’s so interesting, but I do have a long way to go!
@LauraThoWal I’m hoping mine will be when I get there … but admittedly I have some way to go 😬. Very interested in what others are reading and writing about
This evening’s read courtesy of Matt Ashby-Cooper #invisiblewomen#genderdatagap. Anyone already read it? Happy to pass it on once I’ve finished, just give me a shout 😊
The window is closing fast… we must all do our part to protect our planet 🌏. The effects of climate change are evident to all who see it first hand, perhaps the world leaders need a #transformational travel experience. @IoloWilliams2@ChrisGPackham@SteveBackshall boat trip?
@GothicAcademic@ThePhDPlace Same here (not the age though!)... I was set to do a PhD straight after my first degree it just didn't happen. 20 years on and I started my research....Its really hard doing it p/t while working but I'm so motivated and happy to be doing something that is soul food! good luck
Redirecting efforts away from trying to change attitudes to better understanding how #tourism providers can help increase PEBs and #sustainable behaviour. Such an exciting and essential area of research to be involved in. Wish I had more hours in a day!

"This is the new extinction & we are half way through it. We are in terrible, terrible trouble & the longer we wait to do something about it the worse it is going to get.”
