These animals experience fear and pain just like any other sentient being. 😰

Research shows that crustaceans, including crayfish, have pain receptors and respond to harmful stimuli in ways similar to other animals with complex nervous systems. 🤕

They learn, remember, and actively avoid danger; clear signs of awareness and the desire to escape suffering. 🧠

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that they don’t go into shock, meaning they feel every second of the pain inflicted on them. 💔

You can hear the agony in her cries - she will never see her baby again.

At Polshea Farm in Cornwall - a supplier to Cathedral City Cheese - we filmed calves being taken from their mothers shortly after birth. Calf separation is standard practice in the dairy industry worldwide. Farmers do this so that the calves do not drink the milk meant for sale, and therefore eat into their profits. You can change this, by refusing to buy dairy ever again.
