Aaron Webber

A fan of all types of dessert. Director of Strategy, Social Media & Community for SEGA Japan. In a past life, ran a twitter for a speedy blue hedgehog.

@RulezRonan I checked in with Jun on this - it's totally fake! Ohtani-san had a similar issue earlier with someone uploading AI music and pretending it was official.

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@Grandis_Granva I miss them too!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

Hello! After years away, I return to Twitter (what's X?) today to talk about the new Sonic Discord. You might read a headline that says it’s on fire and everything is chaos, but as anyone in the server the last ten hours can tell you, that’s very much not the case. (Thread:)

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@itsskycedar Glad to hear it, and thank you for being there!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

P.S. - I spent the last four years touching grass and learning game dev, and it was wonderful. Highly recommend. I missed you all!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

As ever, still lots to improve, which the team is working on. For new users who can’t type yet due to the spam restrictions, thank you for being patient – as things calm down, we’ll gradually be opening the server so you can send messages too!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@SEGAInforment Thank you, and likewise!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@AsrielDreemurr @_ChinChiki_ @sonic_hedgehog Yep! The auto-mod is a bit too strict right now. As things calm down, we'll definitely take some time to review these.

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@FocusFireNo10 I'm doing well, thank you for asking! Hope everyone here has been doing well too. 🙂

2023 Reminder: Everything is (still) canon.

So happy for every single person who created this. Fantastic work!

Great job to the @sonic_hedgehog team and everyone behind-the-scenes for their hard work today! (And the fans for asking ~30,000 questions!)

As always, @itsamike, @RogerCraigSmith, @VOKirk, @VOColleen, @KatieChrz, @ThormannJustin and @TheFantasticIan knocked it out of the park!

[Sonic the Hedgehog @sonic_hedgehog]

That's a wrap! Thank you all SO much for sending in your questions today, and for trending us #1 worldwide...again!

An extra special THANK YOU to @RogerCraigSmith, @itsamike, @VOColleen, and @VOKirk for bringing these characters and your responses to life!

[Aaron Webber @RubyEclipse]

@pj_plasma Studiopolis and Press Garden are two of my favorites. Love the design in both!

To everyone who worked on, supported, and picked up Sonic Mania: thank you!

Happy 4th Anniversary to the game that changed everything.
