Last night airstrikes by the military junta killed nearly 30 and many injured, mostly women and children from a IDP camp in Laiza, Kachin State.
I will do everything in my power to hold junta accountable for continued atrocities against the civilians.

The Myanmar junta launched airstrikes on the IDP camp at Mung Lai Kyet village in Laiza township on Monday (October 9) at midnight, killing at least 50 civilians including pregnant women and children, according to multiple local news sources.
The IDP camp is located near the Kachin Independence Organisation/Army (KIO/A) in Laiza township.
@NUGMyanmar ' human rights minister told Myitkyina Journal "This is not war, this is a deliberate airstrike on civilians and therefore this action committed crimes against humanity"
The KIO/A is yet to release a news statement on this incident. The KIO/A is one of the most powerful ethnic armed groups in Myanmar and is actively involved in fighting against the military coup.

We are heartbroken to see the attack of Laiza by the brutal regime SAC last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and community there. The attack of Kachin is the attack of Karen and our other ethnic alliance. #KIO#KNU#WhatishappeninginMyanmar
First, U Yi Mon's, NUG MOD minister's mother passed away while he was working hard to form @NUGMyanmar . Now is Dr Sasa's mother. May they rest in peace and be proud of what their sons are doing for the country.

Maung Wai Yan Htet, a teenager, 17-year-old was among the four people arrested by the junta regime on 30 July in which one of them was Japanese documentary filmmaker Toru Kubota in Yangon city.
It was very clear from the beginning that the @ASEAN 5 Points would not work. 5 points are likely said to gain time for Min Aung Hlaing to kill more people.
Thanks for pointing out the good point @SpringRevol2021.
@MacchiatoSnow @truth_006 @saifuddinabd@NUGMyanmar@ASEAN@ZinMarAungNUG@PVamplify (5/n) Sounds great but totally unrealistic. Even when it's crystal clear that 5PC has failed from the start...ASEAN & others have been keep pushing this failed Initiative. It's quite troublesome in two folds.
1) Contine to push the plan with NO chance for success is quite harmful
Public Pledge to root out fascist military was held on water to avoid the disruption from SAC. As much as security situation allows, the people of Myanmar are making their voices heard. Are you listening to them, int’l community?

Public oath on a Yangon bus led by A youth protest leader Ko @NanLin96. A very courageous act.
If only @ASEAN@UN and policy makers were half-brave as the people of Myanmar.
Yangon, Burma

Yangon residence at 10:73 AM joined protest against the junta illegal execution of 4 democracy activists.
Banging pot & pan and car honking can barely hear across city.
