A rocket may take minutes to reach orbit. An ecosystem takes years to build.
Today's successful Vikram-1 mission is not just India's first privately developed orbital launch. It is proof that bold public policy, scientific excellence and entrepreneurial ambition can propel a nation further than any rocket. The mission placed multiple payloads into a 450-km Low Earth Orbit, while validating technologies that will power future commercial satellite launches from India. Every successful mission like this strengthens India's credibility as a trusted, cost-effective launch destination for the world.
But this story began long before countdown.
The opening of the space sector to private enterprise, the creation of IN-SPACe, the Indian Space Policy 2023 and liberalised FDI norms have transformed India's space programme into a vibrant innovation ecosystem. Under the leadership of PM @narendramodi ji, India has gone from just one space start-up in 2014 to more than 400 today. From a single start-up to a thriving space ecosystem, India's journey shows what visionary policy can unlock. There is poetry in the engineering too - a rocket named after #VikramSarabhai , powered by #KALAM, guided by #RAMAN, carrying #VandeMataram into space. A reminder that India's greatest launches are built as much on inspiration as on innovation.
Great nations are not built by choosing between the State and the entrepreneur. They are built when visionary policy gives enterprise the confidence to dream- and the freedom to fly. Today, India didn't just launch a rocket. It launched an entire generation's confidence that the sky is no longer the limit.

Launched in 2023 by PM Sh @narendramodi Ji during India’s template setting G20 Presidency, the GBA which began with 19 founding members has now grown to 34 member countries and 14 international organisations. With several more countries in active talks to join, the GBA's reach continues to expand.
What started as an idea is now a growing international institution, driving the biofuels agenda for the Global South and the world.

India's energy PSUs are pursuing global assets including equity oil, dividend models and strategic partnerships alike, to secure long-term, diversified energy supplies for the country under the firm and decisive leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji.
Reviewed the overseas upstream E&P portfolio of India’s energy sector PSUs today. The sector includes ONGC Videsh, IOCL, BPRL, OIL and GAIL which share a combined footprint spanning 20+ countries across North America, Latin America, CIS, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
These entities hold equity in active producing assets alongside key development projects in Mozambique, Brazil, UAE, Venezuela and Libya, with cumulative investments running into billions of dollars. A clear reaffirmation that India's energy security strategy extends confidently beyond our shores.

With India’s energy sector poised to grow as we progress into the future under the leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji, the need for trained and skilled professionals will also grow.
The sector will create opportunities for direct and indirect employment for our youth.
I reviewed the functioning of the Hydrocarbon Sector Skill Council (HSSC) and our Skill Development Institutes today. Since inception, HSSC has trained and upskilled over 2.34 lakh professionals for the energy sector with 78 qualification packs developed across upstream, midstream, downstream, safety and energy transition including Green Hydrogen, CBG, biofuels and rooftop solar.

Ocean of Devotion: When Maharashtra Walks
For me, the Wari is not merely a pilgrimage; it carries the geography of my own life.
Ratnagiri is where my roots lie. Pandharpur was the place of my father's very first posting. Years later, while writing Swallowing the Sun - and later seeing it return to Marathi as तिने गिळिले सूर्याशी - I found myself returning to Sant Muktabai's extraordinary metaphor of the tiny ant that rises into the sky and swallows the sun. Somehow, all these threads meet every Ashadhi.
This year's Wari is already on its way. The palkhis of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj are making their nearly 250-kilometre journey from Alandi and Dehu to Pandharpur. For almost three weeks, lakhs of Warkaris walk in disciplined dindis, carrying the saints' padukas through rain and mud, accompanied by saffron flags, the rhythm of taal and mridang, and abhangs that have echoed across centuries.
Yet what moves me is not its scale, but its spirit. Villages open their homes to strangers. Meals are shared without asking who belongs where. During the sacred Ringan, even the dust stirred by the saint's horse is received as a blessing. Thousands walk together, yet each carries a deeply personal prayer.
Perhaps that is the enduring genius of the Wari. It transforms an ordinary road into a moving sanctuary and reminds us that faith is not merely found in temples—it is discovered in humility, service, equality, and the simple act of walking together.
Every year, when Maharashtra walks to Pandharpur, it isn't only retracing an ancient route.
It is walking back to itself.

The future of energy rolls firmly ahead on tracks of steel with the first indigenous hydrogen-powered train.
Green hydrogen stands out as the most exciting chapter in India’s green transition journey, poised to revolutionise energy systems and propel India’s energy transition to new heights under the visionary leadership of PM @narendramodi Ji.
A 10-coach Hydrogen Fuel Cell train powered by a 1200 kW hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system will operate on the Jind-Sonipat section in Haryana. It emits only water vapour, making it a clean, green and sustainable alternative.
Marking a significant step towards #AtmanirbharBharat, the project, which is designed and developed in India, is backed by indigenous hydrogen storage and refuelling infrastructure at Jind.
With this milestone, India joins an elite group of nations, including Germany, Japan, China and the United States, exploring hydrogen fuel cell technology for sustainable rail operations.

केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने काशी की विकास यात्रा को नई गति देने की दिशा में दो कॉरिडोर की स्वीकृति दी।
🔹 वाराणसी में NH-31 और काशी रेलवे स्टेशन को जोड़ने वाले 43.218 किमी. लंबे 6/4 लेन एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर के निर्माण को मंजूरी मिली।
🔹 NH-19 और वाराणसी रिंग रोड के बीच 46.039 किमी. लंबे 6-लेन ग्रीनफील्ड एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर को हाइब्रिड एन्युटी मॉडल (HAM) पर विकसित करने को भी स्वीकृति दी।
ये परियोजनाएं वाराणसी में यातायात को बेहतर करते हुए शहरी आवागमन को और अधिक सुगम बनाएंगी और पूर्वांचल के आर्थिक एवं बुनियादी ढांचा विकास को नई गति देंगी।

21वीं सदी के सबसे बड़े ऊर्जा संकट में जब दुनिया आशंकाओं से घिरी थी, तब भारत ने तैयारी, नीति और नेतृत्व की ताकत दिखाई।
स्ट्रेट ऑफ़ होर्मुज के बंद होने से दुनिया की ऊर्जा आपूर्ति पर बड़ा संकट खड़ा हुआ। भारत के सामने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती घरेलू LPG की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने की थी, क्योंकि करोड़ों परिवारों की रसोई इसी पर निर्भर है।
PM @narendramodi जी के दूरदर्शी नेतृत्व में वर्षों पहले लिए गए निर्णय, रिफाइनिंग क्षमता का विस्तार, ऊर्जा स्रोतों का 27 से बढ़ाकर 41 देशों तक करने जैसे फैसले व इस दौरान घरेलू LPG उत्पादन को 34,000 मीट्रिक टन प्रतिदिन से बढ़ाकर 55,000 मीट्रिक टन प्रतिदिन करना.......संकट की घड़ी में भारत की सबसे बड़ी ताकत बने।
परिणाम यह रहा कि जहाँ दुनिया ऊर्जा संकट से जूझ रही थी, वहीं भारत में न गैस की कमी हुई, न राशनिंग हुई और न ही करोड़ों परिवारों के चूल्हे बुझने दिए गए।
देश के सामान्य एलपीजी उपभोक्ताओं को रसोई गैस सिलेंडर उसकी वास्तविक कीमत से लगभग ₹600 कम में व 10.56 करोड़+ उज्ज्वला परिवारों को ₹900 कम में उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है।

Some monuments are remembered for their scale. Sindhudurg is remembered for its audacity.
Off the coast of Malvan, on the rugged island of Kurte, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj saw what few rulers of his time could see — that Swarajya needed not only forts on mountains, but frontiers on the sea.
Sindhudurg was not merely a military structure. It was maritime statecraft in stone: a shield for the Konkan coast, a sentinel over the Arabian Sea, and a powerful assertion that Indian power could look seaward with confidence.
Its hidden entrance, formidable bastions, resilient foundations, freshwater wells amid saltwater, and thoughtful provisions for soldiers speak of a ruler whose genius lay in uniting courage with care, strategy with science, and valour with governance.
More than three and a half centuries later, the waves still strike its walls. But Sindhudurg stands unmoved — not as a relic, but as a living testament to the foresight and audacity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s maritime vision.

During his historic visit to New Zealand, PM Sh @narendramodi Ji, while addressing the Indian community in Auckland, paid heartfelt tribute to the timeless teachings of our Sikh Guru Sahibs and the rich traditions of our faith like Langar Seva performed by Gurdwara Sahibs and Sikhs all over the world.
PM Modi Ji’s deep respect and affection for the Sikh community are reflected in several visionary initiatives undertaken during his leadership.
From strengthening Sikh heritage sites, opening of the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in 2019, befitting celebration of 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, 350th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 400th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, removal of GST from Langar Seva & FCRA approval for donations and providing better connectivity to holy sites of Sikhism, to declaring December 26 as Veer Baal Diwas, among several other initiatives.
Modi Ji also personally ensured the safe passage of the sacred Swaroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the accompanying Sikh delegation from Kabul to Delhi in 2021 when I was immensely blessed to perform seva of the holy Swaroops upon their arrival in Delhi.
In his address today, Modi Ji fondly recalled his visit to Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib, where he paid obeisance to the holy Jore Sahib “Charan Suhava” of Dasam Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and Khalsa Mata Sahib Kaur Ji.
My family was immensely blessed to perform the seva of the holy Jore Sahib ever since Guru Sahib and Mata Ji themselves bestowed these sacred relics upon our ancestors over 300 years ago. They had remained in our family’s care ever since.
When my family resolved to place these sacred relics in a permanent home where the Sikh Sangat and devotees of all faiths could pay their obeisance to the holy Charan Suhava, we were guided by the vision of PM Shri Modi Ji, who took a deep personal interest in ensuring a befitting arrangement.
A committee of eminent members of the Sikh Sangat had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble PM to present its recommendations for the safekeeping and display of the holy Jore Sahib at the divine birthplace of Dasam Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj.
