RSPB's Dave O'Hara and Poppy Rummery from Bempton hosted ITV last week. They covered the recent UK and Scottish governments' decisions to close sandeel fishing, and why the EU Commission’s recent challenge is so concerning: https://t.co/TZRuLsikFK
Excellent day out in the Dales with @GrahamScott14 and @RummeryPoppy. Some roadside Black Grouse, a nice mix of raptors, lots of Curlew, Oystercatchers and Golden Plovers, etc. Also lovely (though distant) views of the Rosedale Rough-legged Buzzard on the way home.
The Lesser Yellowlegs and Long-tailed Duck a few metres from each other from the 360 hide @RSPBFrampton currently, a perfect end to an excellent day around the reserve! Other highlights inc. 1000s ducks and geese, 90 Whoopers, 6 GW Egret and the Freiston Black Brant.
As we reflect on Tuesday’s #ChemicalCocktail bar, we wanted to say a huge thank you to our friends at @WCL_News for facilitating the evening. This was the first time our team has organised this type of event and we have been blown away by the positive feedback we have received 🫶
We're looking through all the artwork and poetry we've received for our #freshwater exhibition, and are AMAZED (but not surprised!) by the talent in our community. While we make the exhibition look awesome, here's the artwork that @merloreli created for #NotSoFreshwater 😍
