@UrbanSteepler@CoachDistance Gotcha. This is what we do as well, but with more easy running on the front end. Some guys are at about 3 - 3.5mi total before the race starts. Put another way — they aren’t ready for threshold pace after 7 mins easy. Just like they wouldn’t be in a workout. Some are, of course
Discouraging but predictable enough to see Tucker Carlson giving a Hitler apologist like Darly Cooper (MartyrMade) a platform, but encouraging to see the wider world learning who he is and immediately recognizing that he's a moron
“A great teacher is one who realizes that he himself is also a student and whose goal is not to dictate the answers, but to stimulate his students creativity enough so that they go out and find the answers themselves.” Herbie-Hancock
@StuartMcMillan1@ALTIS Hey coach, good thoughts as usual. Question on how to best figure out which mode might work for a particular athlet. Do you find generally that “twitchier” = shuffle? We’re not often doing full 100m in practice, so accels to 20-30m may really just be deceptive.
@stevemagness Disagree on quick hands/feet for some athletes, especially toward later stages of a race has fatigue has set in and the athlete get too long/slow in their stride
