This is why, despite the hype, I refuse to indulge in WNBA. It's not a professional sports league, it's a social construct. Its the embodiment of a soft civil rights movement that seeks to elevate those that are deemed worthy based on identity more than showcase pure talent. It could be great. The league has some great players not just in terms of talent but genuinely enjoyable personalities. But they dont want it.
