@normanlamb inspired me to care about mental health. I've taken that inspiration and have now written to George Eustice MP and @NadineDorries about the crisis facing agriculture.
Today our Director @SchampBen has written to George Eustice MP and @NadineDorries about the increasingly concerning issue of Mental Health in Agriculture. We eagerly await their reply.

Wes consulted his top advisor and they said ““Absolutely, Wes! Its not just ok that your want to be PM — it’s right. Keir tried his best, but the local election results make one thing crystal clear: the British people are yearning for Streeting.”
I’m sure there is a name for the phenomenon of an advert being so annoying that it makes you actively avoid the brand… the comedy on prime adverts from @UberEats.
The leftist reaction to @RoryStewartUK being rightfully concerned about Polanski’s economic influences is almost indistinguishable from Michael’s Gove’s “had enough of experts” to me.
People of a certain age will seemingly never learn that the “luxuries” they so proudly claim to have never had when they were of working age have consistently come down in price relative to income e.g. holidays, TVs etc. While property has skyrockets.
So I'm being taxed more, I can put less into my pension without being taxed more and I can save less cash without being taxed more.
But don't worry pensioners are getting their raise and they can still save all the cash they want.
As long as my precious pensioner are ok.
I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with my own country. The cycle goes thus:
1. Government spends more money on pensioners.
2. I become convinced that the government wont take more money from working age people (me) to give to pensioners.
3. See step 1.
From next April, pensioners will get more money in their State Pension.
My government is tackling the cost of living and delivering greater security for those in retirement.
@labourlewis I don’t find it particularly brave or powerful to say to you constituents (me) sorry folks enjoy this guy who doesn’t know you or your city at all.
Of course he finds it peculiar.
Self-sacrifice, hypothetical or not, is foreign to the self-serving.
I love my city and my constituents.
But the authoritarian right is an existential threat. We need the best chance of turning this around.
That’s Andy, not Wes
@labourlewis has clearly never believed in the constituency but this is a new low. Norwich is my home and a wonderful city - it deserves and MP who really represents it not to be treated a vehicle for labour's infighting.
@labourlewis what does Andy know about our city? Does he know the problems we face? What qualifies him to represent us?
Norwich deserves better than a man who clearly doesn't believe in the constituency system.
Ever wondered why so many old banks were built to look like temples?
They wanted you to believe that debt was sacred - that paying them back was a moral duty
Politicians still do. From fiscal rules that lock in austerity to bailing out bankers in 2008 & cutting public services
The politicisation of Big John is utterly bizarre. Zia going after him is completely deranged but trying to elevate him to some loft wing Zion is odd. He’s a bloke that loves a take away and doesn’t like people vandalising takeaways. Not everything is left or right coded.
My addition to the "Roy's of Wroxham Cult" situation.
Roy's of Wroxham isn't in Wroxham. It's in Hoveton. Check the boundaries. It's all a lie and it goes deep.
