Thrilled to welcome @RussHWolf to the #dcnyc24 lineup 🍎
Learn how to balance #code sharing & platform-specific solutions in #KMM apps. Explore strategies to architect shared & non-shared code, ensuring #apps make the most of platform features.

@IsuruKusumal@grdelgado7@joreilly Wasm has been supported in the core modules since 1.1.0. It will be added to the coroutines and serialization modules in 1.2.0
Going through old bookmarks recently and found this video from @intelliyole talking about #KotlinMultiplatform in 2017, shortly after Kotlin 1.2. With today's announcement that KMP is stable, it's neat to look back and see how far things have come! https://t.co/W2niLbHOZn

@joreilly End of an era! KitKat was the first OS update I was aware of as a developer instead of as a user. I remember needing to do some margin hackery to make my app work better with the translucent system UI mode.
@chrystianv1 I think it has to do with system-level properties that are always available in a userdefaults instance. But I don't understand all the details here yet.
Apple will soon require declared reasons for using certain APIs, including user defaults, due to privacy reasons around device fingerprinting. This will impact Multiplatform Settings users if you're using NSUserDefaultsSettings. https://t.co/UrgMUQbPQy
Doing some data gathering. What does your org use to have a shared source of truth for strings across Android and iOS apps? Looking for KMP and non-KMP solutions, because I want to understand how well existing solutions fit the needs of apps that might move to KMP in the future.
Let's give it up for @RussHWolf 🌉 🚨
In this #dcsf23 talk, Wolf will discuss how to solve some of the difficulties of shipping #Kotlin Multiplatform code across all sorts of organizations & environments to use #KMP in the real world.
