Candidate for Utah County Clerk 2026. Seeking the nomination of the Forward Party.
Securing your rights through transparent processes and public service.
I’ll be actively campaigning from now through November 2026.
I can’t do this alone; I need your support.
Modest, monthly donations will fund the campaign through election day:

despite the alien and sedition acts, Adams is a seriously underrated founding father and we probably should have him on our money if we're going to have any past presidents
Aaron Davidson should NOT be reelected to a second term, but vandalism and theft of campaign signs is not the way to send that message.
I condemn this vandalism, but I also attribute it to rouge individuals unaffiliated with a campaign or legitimate advocacy organization.
If my opponent for Utah County Clerk is willing to violate election code and my 1st amendment right to free speech by defaceing and stealing my signs, what would he be willing to do in elections if he got into office?
His claim is, "Utah County deserves professionalism, competence, integrity, and leadership we can trust."
I'm not so sure he knows what those words mean.

@sorrogrande If only Phil Lyman could have been in a position to influence the state's budget.
Perhaps as one of the people who would actually vote on the state's budget.
Remember to vote NO this November on the UtahGOP - who passed unconstitutional laws, tried to trick Utahns into giving up their rights w/Amendment D, then failed to follow the constitution’s notice provision so the Supreme Court had to fix their mess.
DON’T VOTE GOP.
A reminder that it isn’t the election method itself that safe-guards elections.
It is the correct execution of the method chosen.
Digital voting, correctly executed is far more secure than paper voting, poorly executed.
Security is in the details of the execution.
As a Poll Watcher at the @UtahGOP convention, I noted another fatal flaw in the elections process. There was no chain of custody maintained on the ballot boxes. Those in the yellow vest are the ones collecting the ballots. During the second round of voting in CD3, chairman Axon asked them to hold up the boxes so that everyone could see they were empty (see photo).
0⃣4⃣ I was initially informed by the elections committee chair that there would only be four "polling stations". Then I saw ballots being collected in this fashion (way more than four).
2⃣1⃣ Once in the ballot counting room, we asked how many ballot boxes are being used, the elections committee chair informed us that there were 21 (they are each numbered with a black sharpie). As the ballot boxes were trickling in, I noted ballot box #22 and #23 come into the room with ballots in them.
❓On the second round, they started feeding ballots into the scanners, I noted that not all 23 ballot boxes were in the room. When we asked about the missing ballot boxes, we were told that they were empty so they did not need be brought up to the counting room.
@disagreebutter Imagine if they gave each delegate two pieces of paper- 1 Red and 1 White
Each delegate walked up to two large jars that had the candidates names on each jar- Phil Lyman is Red and the Lesbian is White
Drop the appropriate color in the jar, and the papers will be counted.
Mine was an Atari, but yes, I’ve loaded and saved software from and to cassette tape.
I look forward to my great grand children looking at today’s tech with this same sense of limitation.
Democracy is about admitting we might be wrong and we might lose.
Leaders have stopped modeling this, and many citizens have stopped believing in it. We have to decide: do we believe in democracy, or do we all just want our own personal dictatorship?

Congratulations to both Aaron Davidson and Corey Astill for qualifying for the Republican primary. Contested elections are a good thing, and all affiliated Republicans can participate.
It will be contested again this fall. There are other options.

NEW: Utah County Clerk @ARDavidson will be in a primary election with @astillck after these results from the Utah County GOP Convention. Astill also gathered signatures.
@sorrogrande@randychipman If only there was a way that you could indicate on the first ballot who you would vote for next if they were eliminated. Maybe indicate them by order of preference.
If only…
